Beauty Heroes is one of my favorite subscription boxes. This month is all about Josh Rosebrook, which is a brand I already love.

Directions Gently apply in circular motions. Set 10 minutes to 1 hour, rinse with warm water and pat dry. Next mist the face with the Hydrating Accelerator and apply the Deep Hydrating Serum.
This has a paste like texture with a bit of grit to it from the crushed walnuts. This has a very herbal, earthy scent. I can definitely tell there’s turmeric is in there. I applied in a thick layer and let this sit for ten minutes. I then used a hint of water (I should have thought of using the mist) to help me be able to massage this off easier. This doesn’t dry down fully which is nice I never felt ‘dried out’. This most definitely has an enzymatic exfoliation feel to it plus it has physical exfoliation from the crushed walnuts. I have to admit that I’m not a big physical exfoliation fan. I prefer chemical only.
While I love the enzyme part of this mask the physical scrub was a bit harsh on my skin. I think physical exfoliation is either for you, or not. Sadly it’s the first Josh Rosebrook item that wasn’t for me or that I didn’t feel ecstatic over. I will go hang my head in shame as I know most will think I’m crazy. It’s a nice product & it worked well. I think whether or not you like physical exfoliation will make or break this for you.

This product actually has three uses: hydrating mask, cleansing balm or overnight balm. I’m happy to get another jar. The mist smells divine and is one of the few mists that’s actually hydrating.
