Bite Beauty Prismatic Pearl Creme Lip Gloss Rose & Pink Pearl: Review & Swatches

I’m always a sucker for anything metallic and duo chrome. Bite Beauty just released a new Prismatic Pearl Creme Lip Gloss. Details per Sephora:

What it is:
A collection of six, metallic pearl glosses, in shimmering multi-dimensional shades that are found in rare black pearls.

What it does:
Inspired by a trip to Tahiti, Bite Beauty’s founder, Susanne Langmuir, created six, Prismatic Pearl Cream Lip Gloss shades. They offer gorgeous, pearlized color pay off, for a modern, foiled lip look. They’re formulated with lip-softening shea butter for a luxurious lip finish.

Pink Pearl is described as metallic pink with red and pink shimmer. That’s accurate. It’s a sweet iridescent glittery pink. Rose Pearl is described as metallic rose with green and violet shimmer. That’s accurate. It’s a deep warm rose holographic glitter.

This is a glossy, thicker, sticky formula lip gloss. It’s not MAC Lipglass sticky, but it’s pretty sticky. It has a sweet mint flavor and scent. It’s sweet and has a bit of mint, but nothing too strong. The wand is an angled sponge tip applicator. Because it’s a thicker formula it’s moisturizing and lasts fairly long. I did find the texture a bit gritty unfortunately, that’s my main hang up with these. I hate gritty. Otherwise these would be great. Rose Pearl is more gritty than Pink Pearl. They retail for $22 at Sephora.
