Bobbi Brown just released new limited edition Cheek Glow palettes. I grabbed Bare/Desert Rose. It has a pot rouge shade-Desert Rose and a creamy highlight-Bare. Details per Nordstrom’s:

The compact is really nice with a pearly white finish and an embossed Bobbi Brown logo on the cover. The compact retails for $50. The top shade is the shimmery highlight, bottom is the creamy pot rouge.
Bare is a shimmery, sheer warm nude rose highlight. It’s deeper in tone so it will be more of a blush for light skin tones. It barely showed up on my light medium skin tone. It’s sheer and left more of a glossy sheen with a hint of shimmer. It’ a bit glossy and doesn’t dry down. It’s very much like the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate duos texture.
The Pot Rouge shade Desert Rose is a creamy neutral to cool rose. It’s pigmented enough to give a good flush on the cheeks. It does blend well into the skin, no issues with being streaky. It doesn’t set either and stays with a glossier sheen. It wore off about 6 hours into wear. It felt a bit sticky on my cheeks because it was so moisturizing. It reminded me of the Charlotte Tilbury Film Star on the Go duos, that slightly glossy sheen and sticky finish that doesn’t dry down.
For me this palette was a bust. The highlight was too glossy, sheer and barely showed up on my skin tone. The pot rouge shade while moisturizing for the lips, was too moisturizing for the cheeks. Most duo lip and cream products I tend to feel this way about. They’re either good for the lips and not drying, like this one, or too dry for the lips but good on the cheeks. However, this palette is gorgeous to look at. Fabulous package and no discernible scent. It won’t irritate anyone. If you like a glossier highlight and cheek blush formula, this is for you. If you prefer a drier textured cream blush and highlight, you might test this out first.
