By Terry Or de Rose Baume Precieux: Swatches & Review Pot vs Wand

I started with By Terry’s original Baume de Rose a few years ago. I happened to one night come across a version with pink gold flakes in it and was instantly drawn like a barracuda to metal. I was able to get the wand baume off of strawberrynet. Then I came across the pot on a blog sale. The wand is more portable but a touch sheerer. They both moisturize about the same, the pot might last a touch longer. You definitely don’t need both. The pot version is a touch thicker and has a bit more of the shimmer. The flecks are a rose gold and quite lovely and hard to capture on camera. This version has no SPF on the label. This has the typical By Terry rose scent.

The original Baume de Rose I liked, but it wasn’t a must have, I actually like Nuxe’s Rieve de Miel better for night moisture and Tata Harper’s Balm and Hurraw! SPF Balm for day. All By Terry has a rose scent which I find can be too overpowering sometimes. If it wasn’t for how stunning it is color wise the scent would make me want to get rid of it. I’m also not a fan of the type of sunscreen By Terry puts in it but I will save that for a sunscreen post.
