CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion: Review

There is one cheap, drugstore body lotion that deserves some love and it’s own post. CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. This is a fragrance free, hydrating daily body lotion that’s never greasy. It gets the job done and does it well. I grabbed this on a whim a few years back when I was looking for a cheap body lotion. I love that it’s drugstore pricing, yet is such a fabulous product. Details about CeraVe products:

Skin naturally contains ceramides.
Over time, ceramides become depleted, leading to dry and irritated skin.
CeraVe helps replenish the vital ceramides healthy skin needs.
It’s formulated with a unique combination of three ceramides (called 1, 3, and 6-II).
Only CeraVe delivers ceramides through a patented, controlled-release technology that penetrates the skin’s surface, to help rebuild the skin’s protective barrier and lock in moisture all day.

Type of skin: Normal to dry Areas of concern: Dry skin, itchy skin, National Eczema Association accepted, psoriasis prone skin care

This lotion is white in color, fragrance free, light to medium weight in thickness. Not too thin, not too thick. It’s not greasy and absorbs quickly. It leaves no greasy feel and you can dress quickly after applying. It hydrates very well for being a light to medium weight lotion. It has a pump style dispenser, and runs about $10 for 8 oz.

I grab mine at Ulta or Target depending where I’m at that day. It’s suitable for anyone and I can’t see it irritating anyone nor causing breakouts. I’ve gone through multiple bottles and expect to keep doing so. It’s a great daily morning lotion. My skin feels soft and hydrated all day after applying. I would recommend it to anyone.
