Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick: Sexy Sienna & Walk of Shame: Swatches & Comparison

Charlotte Tilbury finally released the Matte Revolution Luminous Modern-Matte Lipsticks in the US for one month. You can only get them on Charlottetilbury.com until April 30th. They are set to launch permanently in September. I previously reviewed the formula and shades I had here. I had two more shades I wanted to get once they came out here, Walk of Shame and Sexy Sienna. Retail in the US is $32.

Sexy Sienna is described as a golden coral to partner sun kissed skin. That’s pretty accurate. It has great pigmentation, you can wear it fully opaque or a touch sheerer. It doesn’t come off as a pastel coral at all, and it has a touch of gold shimmer. This looks like a cream glowy coral on the lips, the shimmer doesn’t show up, but it’s barely visible in the sunlight close up. This one does have the most shimmer out of the shades I own, followed by Very Victoria.

Walk of Shame is described as a berry tinted rose for antique chic. That’s pretty accurate as well. It’s a darker shade, it applies even and opaque, but do to the moistness of the matte it does wear off quicker than a regular matte. It can also be sheered out for a stain look. There’s no visible shimmer in it, though all the Matte Revolution lipsticks have a touch of glowy shimmer pigments. It’s warm toned and more red than Bond Girl which is cooler. It comes off as a bit richer and darker in color on the lips than Bond Girl does.
