Cultbeauty’s Recent Gift Bag

Cultbeauty has gift bags often and they tend to tempt me to buy something new or stock up on what I already have. I always forget to photograph them, so thought I would start with this one. I will say this one was not my favorite out of the last three they had, but it was still great and worth going for.

In the black bag was a OSKIA Renaissance Mask, Eve Lom Cleanser and muslin cloth, Cult 51’s new eye serum sample, Omorovicza Rejuvinating Night Cream, a Jouer Kabuki Brush, Glamglow Eye Mask, Philip B Peppermint & Avocado Shampoo, Verso Day Cream, Grown Alchemist Vanilla & Orange Peel Hand Cream, Odacite Wild Carrot Facial Serum and David Kirsch Energy Bubbles one time packet.

This was what I bought to get it. I’ve been changing my skincare some because I’ve had to adjust for the pregnancy, so no more salicylic acid at night. Glycolic and Lactic are OK. I’m not a huge fan of Alpha-H Liquid Gold as the alcohol in it irritates my skin, but they have this Instant Facial you spray on a cotton square and use it that way, it has no alcohol, just the good old glycolic acid.

OSKIA had a free Rose de Mai Candle with purchase as well so I bought another Nutri-Active Day Cream which has become really useful since I moved here, it’s just enough in the humidity, it’s quickly become my day lotion for now. I plan on reviewing it soon. I also got the OSKIA Perfect Cleanser, which after I ordered it remembered why I have never ordered it in the past, I prefer the ingredients in the Renaissance Cleanser and they’re so similar. This is an oil based thick baume that needs a muslin cloth to remove it. I also double cleanse with it to remove the excess oil. So my mistake I’ll use it, but I should have gotten the Micro Exfoliating Balm which is the same but has the scrub exfoliant in it. The candle is nice and heavy, it’s a very powerful rose smell, so not for the faint of heart.
