Current Favorites & Product Obsessions

This was such a crazy busy week. With the Sephora Rouge sale I had a few new exciting things to play with. I think everyone has been so excited waiting for the new Sunday Riley foundation The Influencer Clean Long Wear Foundation. Boasted as a medium to full coverage foundation with a satin-matte finish that doesn’t look cakey or clog pores. It’s also supposed to control oil and be soothing. I agree with the coverage, it’s medium coverage with a satin-matte finish that doesn’t look cakey. I’ve been using it for almost a week daily and it hasn’t clogged my pores yet plus it covers well. I love that this isn’t too drying nor too dewy. It looks like skin with good coverage. I know there has been mixed reviews on this accentuating dry patches or breaking down mid day. I have not had an issue with either so far. Now I haven’t tested this in the Texas summer heat and humidity yet which will break down any foundation for me. More to come.

I have been wearing the Sunday Riley foundation mostly over non matte primers like the satin finish FENTY BEAUTY Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer. These two work really well together. I totally didn’t expect to like this primer but it’s really good. It gives a satin finish that helps control oil without being drying. It works with every foundation I’ve tried. Which is amazing. I can’t say that about every primer. I talked about it HERE.

I grabbed the new limited edition Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous fragrance during the Sephora sale. I grabbed it because it’s Tom Ford, I like leather scents and the name was just fun.

Capturing a rarefied air this fragrance evokes the private exchanges and insider moments where fantasies come true. The scent can only be described in one way: with a name that says it all. The vibrant opening makes an instant statement as clary sage and fresh lavender command attention with aromatic foreplay.

Delectable bitter almond and vanilla inflections infuse textural richness to the leather heart. Drenched in orris root from the iris flower, the full luscious body of the supple Italian plunge reveals its exquisite beauty. Addictive tonka bean and lavish leather drive the scent as amber undertones reverberate with a warm glow. Ultra-fine blonde woods create a confident expression of pure luxury with a creamy finish.

Key Notes: Fresh lavender, Bitter Almond , Vanilla , Orris Root, Irris Flower, Leather. This is a light spicy, woody, leather scent with a floral edge that’s not too powdery floral. The fragrance is lighter than I expected. I’m always afraid of Irris as that can be too powdery floral for me but it’s fine as it’s minimal in this scent. This ever so slightly reminds me of Byredo Rodeo, that light leather kind of scent. But Tom Ford is warmer, more vanilla & less floral. More to come.

I finally got the new gentle mister for my Jordan Samuel Skin Hydrate The Mist. I was all excited to get this then didn’t like the strong spray that came with it so I left it on the side for a while. They have revamped the package with a more gentle mister and sent out new ones to anyone who had the old one. Now I can start playing with it again and I like the hydrating mist. More to come.

I have been using a Foreo Luna Mini in the shower 3-4 times a week for about three years or more now. This really helps clean out my pores gently. I don’t feel the need to use it all the time. A few times a week is enough. I’ve probably only charged is three times in those three to four years as well. It such an easy maintenance tool. I talked about it HERE an HERE.

I was drawn to the new Farmacy Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm. I love the slim tube. This is smooth & hydrating and I really quite like it. It has almost no scent and the texture is very comfortable on the lips. It’s a bit too light for night use. This balm contains Echinacea GreenEnvy honey, beeswax, royal jelly, and propolis as well as cupuaçu and cocoa butters. It also contains the oils-olive, castor, coconut, sunflower, and jojoba. This is so affordable and I’m just obsessed with it. I would definitely repurchase.

Kat Burki makes some of the most amazing products. They just launched a new Advanced Anti-Aging Goji Essence. I had to grab it because you don’t pass up on new Kat Burki. This watery essence combines goji berry, lactic acid and peptides for a new generation of essence. I love the shimmering green glass pump style bottle. It’s so luxe. This is watery in texture and has an oxygenating almost slight bubbling action on the skin. More to come.

MUN Skincare has become a quick favorite of mine since trying the oil in the February Boxwalla box. The AKWI Purifying Cleanser also became a fast favorite. This cleanser has a creamy texture and removes all makeup with it’s oil base all while detoxing and purifying the skin. This cleanser comes with a lovely blue cotton cloth to remove as well. It will never strip the skin and the skin is left super soft after cleansing. More to come. Save 15% on all MUN Skincare with code beautyendeavor on their site HERE.

  1. Hi Michelle!
I notice that you love the Kat Burki line of products. Which two products are your favorites and which two would you recommend to someone like me who would like to try the brand for the first time?
