Summer like weather is on the horizon for me here in South Texas. While I am moving to lighter skincare formulations and easy more melt-proof makeup, I find myself clinging to the more spring like things for now. Such as the fragrance Orio by Mona di Orio. This woody oriental has a sweet edge that’s perfect for spring or fall. Top notes: mandarin orange, sweet pea and spices. Middle notes: jasmine, olibanum, heliotrope, ylang-ylang and vetiver. Base notes: immortelle, cedar, amber and musk. Sadly this scent is discontinued but the brand has lots of other popular scents.

Rarely pictured this hand cream deserves some love. The Alpha-H Age Delay Hand & Cuticle Cream is my all time favorite nighttime staple hand cream. It uses glycolic acid to encourage cellular turnover. The best part is that it’s actually hydrating and lasts all night. Not too many hand creams truly hydrate all night like this one does. It’s holy grail status for me. Review HERE.

Allies of Skin is one of my favorite brand discoveries from last year. I have finally figured out how to make Bright Facial work for me so I put it in this post. This has been recently reformulated to reduce the pilling issue. If you still have a tube like me and plan on using it all then you’re trying to find the best way to use it without pilling. This does best in a minimal night routine, apply after a serum, then when half dry mist and apply a facial oil before it fully dries. I then follow with a cream and had absolutely no issues with it pilling while using this method. This is a 2-3 night in a row treatment once a month for brightening. It works. Well. Review HERE. I can’t wait to use it all so I can grab the new one.

Osmosis is a clinical skincare brand with a holistic edge. I just talked about the Quench Intense Hydrator but thought I would mention it one more time before it goes away for the summer. This lotion textured cream packs an amazing punch of moisture and uses peptides as well for anti-aging. I love how it makes my face feel-hydrated and soft and fully re-hydrated. In the fall this baby is coming out to play again. It’s just a bit intense for summer. Review HERE.

Bakel is a new brand I’ve always wanted to explore. I grabbed two things from the SpaceNK sale as it was the perfect chance. P-Lipic is a hydrating serum with a very simple inci list. It contains hyaluronic acid, a phospholipid complex and trehalose to repair the skins moisture barrier. I love the light hydrating slippery serum texture.

I just discovered Twelve Beauty in the Boxwalla April subscription box. I’ve been eyeing the Intelligent Frontier Facial Oil for months and finally caved. It peaked my interest because of the unsaponified plant oils. More about those later in the final review. I love the extreme lightweight texture yet it feels so nourishing. Truly an amazing oil. More to come.

I’ve been pulling out my Natasha Denona Face Glow Cream Shimmer a lot this week. Shade Light is a perfect shimmering peachy nude pink. It’s one of my all time favorite cream highlighters. Review HERE. I feel like I wore Tom Ford Lips & Girls in Joan and Edita all week. I love the creamy, hydrating formula and mini sizes. Review & swatches HERE.

I’ve been wanting to try anything by ILIA for a while. The new True Skin Serum Foundation seemed like a good start. Equal parts skincare and foundation this light to medium coverage foundation has a dewy hydrating finish. I grabbed shade Chios a medium with neutral undertones. More to come.
