With the cold weather last week I found myself reaching for the Cle de Peau Radiant Fluid Foundation quite a bit. I wear shade O30. This fluid formula has a dry oil base to it so it’s extra hydrating while remaining whisper light and offering medium satin finish coverage. I love it’s flawless finish. I bought this in the summer & it wasn’t on my high rotation list because of the oil base and heat humidity combo, but once it turned cold this has become a favorite. Review and swatches HERE.
Ormonde Jayne One is a signature fragrance exclusive to Selfridges as part of the Bespoke Collection. I tried a small size from a special release last year and jumped when I saw it pop up on Seflridges and didn’t ban US shipping (normally it won’t let you order fragrance to the US. I totally expected my order to be cancelled but I got it). I love the shimmering silver minimalist bottle design. Details per Selfridges:

At first I thought it was going to be too floral. Like all Ormonde Jayne it’s well done and very complex. It’s a woody, spicy, floral with hints of citrus. Ormonde Jayne is British and one of my all time favorite perfumeries.
Bioderma Matricium has become a favorite this month. It’s not available in the US so I had to order mine from overseas. The water like texture lets this sink in with ease. Use this right after toners as it’s texture is so light. Always go lightest to heaviest. This is great for repairing and nurturing the skin when it’s irritated from–being cold outside, you did some kind of procedure or your skin is irritated from acid use or just any other kind of irritation. Krave Beauty is a newly launched line created by Liah Yoo. I saw it on Instagram and it looked so interesting, as well as affordable, so I grabbed the only two products in the line right now. The Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser is a jelly style non-drying cleanser. It’s very much in line with INDIE LEE, Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce, WHAMISA by Glow Recipe Green Tea or Drunk Elephant Beste no.9. These are all new generation jelly style cleansers that foam (in a non traditional way) but don’t strip skin. I love the matcha green tea, hemp oil, sweet almond oil and oat kernel extract. Zelens Z Balance is a newly launched prebiotic and probiotic mist. I love Zelens and anything new I grab in a heartbeat. I love the fine mist on this slim glass bottle. This is meant to calm and soothe the skin while balancing. Which it does & I love the shiso scent. More to come.
KYPRIS is a green brand that had been on my wishlist forever. I have been playing with a few things from their line. I was given this Antioxidant Dew to play with though I would have bought it anyway. This is a slippery hydrating light textured serum that gives your day a boost of antioxidant goodness. Powered by Vitamins C & E, Superoxide Dismutase encapsulated in phospholipids & Ferulic Acid. There’s also tons of plant derived antioxidants as well. More to come in the full review.
This bottle of May Lindstrom The Youth Dew has been sitting in my closet for at least six months. I haven’t been into oils for a while. Recently I pulled some oils out and I started really enjoying using oils again. Theyre made a huge difference in the texture and feel of my skin. My skin feels so much more elastic with an oil day and night in my routine. This has 20 oils and CoQ10. I’ll go over the oils in this one I love in the full review. It’s a medium weight oil that sinks in well for hydrated skin. I never experienced any breakouts while using. It just makes me glow and gives happy and hydrated skin. The texture is phenomenal.
These Klairs Toner Mate 2 in 1 Cotton Pads came in my Wishtrend x Gothamista box. I didn’t expect to love them. These are amazing. There’s two pads. One is a spongy style, one a pressed cotton. These both are thin enough to save me from wasting my toners. A lot of cotton pads are thicker and absorb more than I get on my face. The pressed cotton ones are good for liquid toners, the spongy ones are good for thicker essence style toners. They’re both soft & don’t shed at all. I would absolutely buy them again.

Violet Voss was never on my radar until they launched this PRO Eye Shadow Palette in Taupe Notch. I love the plethora of nude creamy shades that have adult shimmer. I’m always excited when there’s no glitter. They are pigmented, smooth and last all day. It’s an affordable palette that’s high quality. It was a total surprise for me I didn’t expect that.
