Dior Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer Glow Addict Holographic Sculpting Powder: Holo Gold & Pink

I’m always finding myself attracted to the Dior Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer line up. I started with the original in shade Pink Glow 002 (Review HERE). Dior has also been releasing limited edition shades with new collections like Precious Rocks last fall (Review HERE). For Spring 2018 Dior launched the Glow Addict Collection. The limited editions for the Glow Addict Collection are Holographic Sculpting Powder Holo Pink & Holo Gold. Details per Dior:

Sculpt and enhance your complexion with the intense glow of Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer. Highly concentrated in holographic pearlescent pigments, its lightweight texture blends seamlessly with the skin, bathing it in shimmering shades of light.

For naturally glowing skin, this powder is available in two spring shades, embossed to evoke the delicate tulle of a couture dress.

With its virtually imperceptible texture, Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer reveals glowing skin for a radiantly luminous complexion.

Get cool-toned radiance with the Holographic Pink 001 shade or warmer tones with the Holographic Gold 002 shade.

The Holographic Sculpting Powder has the same smooth, pigmented, light as air texture as the original. The formula is never dry or powdery, it’s airy and light. These two Glow Addict shades are more duochromatic and sparkly.

Holo Pink 001 is a sparkling light beige pink. It has a cooler tone overall but it’s actually darker than the original Pink Glow 002 shade. It has white, pink and blue micro glitter in it.

Holo Gold 002 is a medium sparkling peachy gold with gold and pink micro glitter. If you look at it in the right light you see purple glitter too. This one has the biggest duochrome feel of the two and has a warmer feel. I love the color shift in it.

These new Glow Addict highlighters have quite a bit of micro glitter. Much more than I expected. They are very sparkly and feel mostly like micro glitter not a regular shimmer highlighter. At least the Precious Rocks version last fall had a touch of micro glitter in a shimmer base and it was doable. The original version is just a frosty shimmer base with no micro glitter. When you spread these ones out you can really see the glitter when you shift it in the light. Very sparkly and too much micro glitter for me. They tended to emphasize my pores and were too much glitter for me. I like shimmer, I love highlighters but I hate this much glitter. Again it’s not a full on regular size glitter bomb, but it’s not a refined small amount either. These aren’t frosty feeling just very glittery and sparkly.

These have the same lovely light Dior texture and I really loved the shades. It’s a shame they are ruined by glitter. I would only wear these for a night out as my personal preference for glitter use. I would have loved these ten years ago. These are perfect for the girl in her 20s, maybe early 30s. If you’re in your 40s or hate glitter you might want to skip these. Holo Pink is cooler toned and good for lighter and cooler complexions. Holo Gold is warmer and perfect for those more medium toned or darker complexions. They both come with a kabuki brush and velvet pouch as all Dior Diorskin Nude Air Luminizers do. I used a very light airy brush to apply this like the Wayne Goss Air Brush or Sonia G small fan brush. Start light and build up intensity. It’s easier to start light as you can easily overdo it with this one. I love the Dior silver case with the geometric top it’s always stunning. I look forward to the next ones Dior releases and hope they stay away from micro glitter.
