I had heard that Glossybox was a good subscription box to try for higher end items. I also heard that their customer service and shipping times were poor. They ship late, have broken items and have poorer customer service. I still decided to try it. August would have been my first month and as of Sept the first week I had received nothing yet. I emailed customer service through facebook in a private message and they were fast at responding saying my address had printed wrong causing a label to not be printed(though the limited box had no issue getting to me the week before). They did finally send it out and I got it last week. They said they are working on their shipping times but we shall see…
So as long as you keep that in mind it’s $21 a month.
As I’ve seen so far the boxes are fabulous, great for regifting.
The Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner in Black I have not tried beyond my hand yet, but on my hand it lasted well through a load of dishes if that helps. It wasn’t dried out like I expected it to be.
The Sparitual nail polish was a orange glitter shade and not for me so it went up for swap. It was full size.
The Kryolan Highlighter in Cashmere was a nice champagne shade, but I have a few highlighters I really love and it wasn’t enough to replace one. It was moist and subtle not a big show me type highlighter.
The Eslor Firming Collagen Cream I remember looking it up and it had Retinol Palmitate in it which I don’t like in my skincare. I will one day get into ingredients and why I pick them or not.
I have not tested the Uberliss shampoo & conditioner but they will be added into rotation soon.
This wasn’t a stellar I love it box but I’ll use the hair care and eye liner. We’ll see for next month, September whenever it manages to arrive…
