July Beauty Heroes Subscription Box

The July Beauty Heroes subscription box introduces us to True Botanicals. This month is a box devoted to luxurious hair and body products.

As far as aromas go, bottling the essence of a lush and leafy summer day is the stuff of legend. True Botanicals pulled it off, and managed to infuse a subtly unisex scent blend of citrus fruit, ylang ylang, sweet violet and mimosa into a lathering shampoo and softening conditioner that’s MadeSafe certified. Needless to say, we’re more than a little impressed, so we Hero-fied it.

This month’s Sidekick, Nourishing Body Wash, is like summer on the skin. Reminiscent of an oceanside California grove, this all-over creamy body cleanser rouses the senses with bright notes of woodsy citrus while purifying, hydrating and softening skin, from tip to toe.

I’ve always wanted to try anything by True Botanicals. I never figured it would be their hair care first. Though I am pleasantly surprised as their hair care is amazing. The box contains the Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner. The sidekick is the Nourishing Body Wash. I’ve never seen such beautiful ingredient lists for shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Truly a luxe natural brand.

The shampoo has the lightest gel texture. It cleanses my hair with a gentle yet effective touch. It actually lathers more than I expected for an SLS free shampoo. All the products have a light earthy, green, citrus scent. There’s a fresh edge to the scent, almost cucumber like though there’s no cucumbers in it. Where else are you going to see green tea as the first ingredient in hair care or body wash? No where that I’ve ever seen. The conditioner has a light texture. It hydrates beautifully without weighing my hair down. The body wash also has a light gel texture. It’s quite dreamy. It’s a very pleasant box to get with the most amazing ingredients.

You still have until July 20th to get this box. You can get 3 months for $42.95 a box, 6 months for $39.95 a box or 12 months for $37.96 a box. Always valued at $90 or more. Subscribe HERE. Subscribers always get 15% off all orders all the time as well. I’ve used that code quite frequently.
