Time for the very late July Samples & Empties Post. Quick thoughts about each starting above.
NIOD Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist: I liked this mist a lot. Its got Superoxide Dismutase which is one of the most powerful antioxidants. It’s also got malachite for anti-pollution. It’s a really nice mist. A huge size too.
Manyo Factory Lactobacillus Bifida Mist: I loved this mist it contains a bifida complex (probiotics), mushroom extract & peptides like copper tripeptides. It’s affordable and I would 100% buy it again once I run through my other mists.
OBAGI Nu-Derm Toner: This toner was OK. It didn’t stand out to me as something I want to get again. The fragrance was a bit heavy.
Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer: This was one of my first luxury face cream purchases. I still love going back to it now and then.
Kalleis Lift Serum: More to come on this soon. It’s an anti-aging wrinkle serum.
OSKIA Citylife Booster: This is a high tech natural skincare booster for anti-pollution and antioxidant protection. Very pricey, packed full of actives. More to come.
Capri Blue Pink Peppermint Candle: Vanilla and peppermint blended with sandalwood, juniper and cashmere musk. A holiday scent. I loved it’s warm scent so much I have four back ups.
OUAI Dry Shampoo: This one was OK. I like IGK better.
Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts: These are nice Himalayan salt bath salts for a detox.
Boscia Cactus Water: I loved this. The hydrating gel has resurrection plant. More to come.
Marajo Deep Treatment Butter: This was a nice hair mask that didn’t leave my hair too greasy.
Jane Scrivner Nourishing Cleanser: I like this balm cleanser. It has a very clove kind of scent. It’s like EVE LOM Cleanser without the granules.
SkinMedica Dermal Repair Cream: I really loved this. A nice medium weight cream. I would consider grabbing a big one.
Julep Length Matters Mascara: This was OK. Not my favorite type of mascara. I like volume. Plus I hate silicone brushes.
La Bella Figura Modern Radiance Concentrate: Love this vitamin C gel, I have a big one and more to come on it.
Hourglass ARCH Brow Gel Blonde: I liked this. I love the formula and shade. The brush is a tad too big for me but it’s nice.
WHYLD Youth Activating Elixir: This was OK. A dry but more hydrating than a usual dry oil. Heavy in the green earthy essential oil scent.
Ormonde Jayne Black Gold: I love this. I accidentally left this in my purse in the car in the 100 degree heat and it turned black. I have few bigger vials. It’s got such an intoxicating rich scent. I love Ormonde Jayne.
Meow Meow Tweet Vanilla Clove Lip Balm: I liked this to some degree. It wasn’t my favorite scent. It seems to be discontinued possibly I don’t see it in stick anywhere.
Biologique Recherche Creme MSR-H Visage: For mature skins. It was hydrating. It was OK just not my favorite cream ever.
La Mer The Perfecting Treatment: I loved this. Such a light silicone primer. With skincare benefits. If this came in a pump I would buy a big one.
Volition Snow Mushroom Water Serum: I liked this hydrating serum a lot. Snow mushroom holds a large amount of water to hydrate skin.
Sisley Eau de Champagne Body Lotion: This is my favorite scent by Sisley. Very green a cologne like. This lotion is hydrating yet light. Love this one.
Revision Intellishade SPF 45 Original: I wanted to love this but it left a bit too much of a white cast for me. Even being tinted.
MAC False Lashes: Defines well, not as voluminous as I would like. I wouldn’t buy one.
NARS Velvet Lipgloss Pencil Frivolous: I love the sparkling pink shade and glossy texture. I let mine expire cause I just don’t wear glosses anymore.
La Bella Figura Decouverte Under Eye Repair Serum: I loved this sample. I would love to try a big one of this oil.
Derm Institute Anti-oxidant Hydration Gel Masque: I liked this. I split the package into two nights. I layered like a sleeping mask. It’s a hydrating jelly that has quite a bit of moisture.
By Terry Light Expert 2 Apricot Light: I always waned to try this. The shade was a bit too light for me. I liked the light texture.
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream: I love the vanilla scent, it’s a bit too hydrating for my tastes. It makes me want to eat sweets too as it’s so yummy smelling. That could be good and bad.
Elta MD UV Sport SPF 50: This was pretty good as a body sunscreen. It’s not heavy or greasy, low white cast.
Sisley Neck Cream: I like this neck cream. It’s hydrating, light textured. Low fragranced scent.
LaBruna Skin Care Growth Factor Rejuvenating Serum: I liked this serum. Nice texture. It was only two uses so no way to evaluate effectiveness. It’s got five growth factors, gotu kola & swiss apple.
Skin Better Even Tone Correcting Serum: I only tried a sample of this so far but I have a big one to use too. It seems like it will be good.
Etude House Tone-Up Rose: This was terrible. A pale, chalky, white mess. I looked like a porcelain doll after applying it was so white. It has a pale lilac shade but it leaves the worst white cast.
Pyunkang Yul Mist Toner: Small sample but it seemed nice.
LaBruna Skincare Renew Intense Collagen: This was a nice moisturizer. I liked the texture.
Sisley Restorative Body Cream: This is my favorite Sisley body product. It’s so creamy, luxe, hydrating and somehow light. No scent.
SK-II RNA Power Radical New Age Essence: This is nice in texture. A hydrating gel serum. Small sample so can’t evaluate effectiveness.
In Fiore Creme de Fleur: This is a nice creamy serum. I always wanted to try more In Fiore. This has ’24 highly effective infusions, floral essences, and minerals that encourages healing and renewal to counteract signs of aging’.
Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer: This was creamier than I prefer for myself, but I can see why others like it.
Bitgoa Hue Essence Toner: I liked this. Fermented essence meets toner texture. I would try a big one.
Friend 4 Ever Sheet Mask: I got this package free with a Beautytap order. It was OK. Not my favorite sheet mask.
