June Samples & Empties

Time for the extremely late June Samples & Empties Post. I normally would have had this up a month ago but it was overwhelmingly large and I’ve been putting it off. This post has a lot of not finished but expired products I cleaned out of my stash as well. Quick thoughts about each starting above.

Alpha-H Age Delay Hand & Cuticle Cream: My all time favorite night hand cream. It lasts all night and glycolic acid gets rid of those pesky hand spots. Review HERE. I will repurchase this forever.

Surratt Diaphane Matte Powder: I love this stuff. It’s finely milled, no heavy powdery feel. Just a nice light matte finish. I’ve gone through multiples of this. Review HERE.

Bakel P-Lipic: This was OK. Way overpriced. Honestly if it wasn’t on sale at SpaceNK for 70% off I never would have grabbed it.

Chanel Ombre Premiere Silver Pink: I adore this stuff to death. One of my most reached for eyeshadows. It just dried out on me before I could finish it. I bought a new one and will continue to repurchase. Review HERE.

Osmosis Colour Curling Mascara: I liked this to some degree. It was wet and no flakes. It has a deep color. It was almost too wet and not enough volume for me.

3RIFIC Brightening Concentrate: I liked this. Great ingredients. Just didn’t work all that well on me. Review HERE.

Paula’s Choice Peptide Boost: I liked this peptide serum booster. I really need to get my review up. Promise it’s on the short list.

Kat Burki Complete B Illume Brightening Serum: I love Kat Burki and this smells great, was hydrating and had nice ingredients. It did nothing for me beyond hydrate and way too overpriced for that. I would not repurchase.

KYPRIS Antioxidant Dew: I loved this hydrating creamy antioxidant serum. I would repurchase. Review HERE.

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA: I love this stuff. It’s hydrating without being too heavy. It’s cheap and I use it on my daughters face. Review HERE.

Charlotte Tilbury Confession: I love this shade. I just threw this out due to I had had it for 3+ years and it was probably bad. Review HERE.

Innisfree Cotton Pads: These were OK. I bought these when my Klairs were out of stock. Klairs is better. These are too puffy and waste too much liquid.

Herbivore Coco Rose: My monthly obligatory empty jar. Holy grail body polish. Go through a jar a month. Review HERE.

OSEA Undaria Body Polish: This was OK. Gentle. The lavender scent was way too strong for me and I prefer more oils in my body polishes so I don’t have to use lotion. Review HERE.

VII O2M Oxygen Mask: I liked these as they worked. Not sure they are worth the price as they came off half the night for me. See Instagram review.

Goodal Waterest Tone Up First Essence: I loved this fermented watery oil toner. I let it expire (bad Michelle!) so I tossed it out.

eos Shave Cream Vanilla Bliss: I love this shave cream. It’s cheap and it works. Review HERE.

Amore Pacific Vintage Single Extract Essence: I love this watery toner. The green tea really balances the skin. Review coming soon.

Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist: I love this mist, Hungarian thermal waters and neroli-yes!

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid: My husband actually used this one up. Honestly it’s the only skincare item I can get him to use. I prefer the RESIST version which is my favorite BHA liquid.

Mama Mio Keep Calm Nipple Balm: This expired in my closet and probably about a year ago since I haven’t breastfed in a year. This really does work I liked it.

AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream: This was a nice light yet nourishing hand cream. Light scent.

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub: This is OK but it dried my hair out. Odd texture to rub oily salt into my hair.

Phytoseed Hair Cleanser: I liked this gentle shampoo. Great scent & ingredients.

Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Refreshing Hydra Gel: I like the texture, I hate the Amore Pacific scent. Too perfume fragranced for me.

Fresh Sugar Face Polish: All time holy grail in-shower mask. I’ve used this for well over a decade. The brown sugar melts into my skin in the shower and softens it so well. It keeps my skin from drying out in the shower as well. Review HERE.

Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer: I like this moisturizer. It was one of my first real true prestige creams I used.

Earthwise Botanicals Amazing Basic Face Moisturizer: I liked this one. It’s light like a lotion. They discontinued it sadly.

Osmosis Stem Factor: I promise to write this review before the end of September. Stay tuned.

Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer: I like this gel cream. It’s not bad. Smells uplifting like citrus. I like others better.

La Mer The Perfecting Treatment: I loved this as a primer. It’s got a light gel cream texture with a very light silicone feel. Just enough to blur imperfections and not block pores. I would buy again.

La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream: This is my favorite version of La Mer. It’s lighter than the original and leaves my skin soft and hydrated.

La Mer The Moisturizing Cool Gel Cream: I liked this a lot. Nice texture for a gel cream.

Paula’s Choice RESIST Anti-Aging Eye Cream: This was way too hydrating for me, it also kind of separated in the tube as well. I didn’t finish it.

Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo: I love this shampoo. Honestly Oribe never disappoints. This one is hydrating.

Sisley All Day All Year: This is a medium weight lotion. I liked it. I keep getting samples in my Sisley subscription box so I feel I don’t need to buy one.

Bioderma Matricium: I adored this stuff. It calms and soothes so well. A true skin savior. Review HERE.

Benefit Roller Lash: This was OK. I rarely like any kind of silicone wand. They just don’t give me the look I like.

OUMERE Oil Dissolution Theory: This is a nice oil cleanser. I have too many to grab a new one right now but maybe one day.

J.One Jelly Pack: I keep wanting to like this but it’s too sticky. It’s hydrating and yes a good makeup primer.

Sisley Mascara: I really liked this new one. I even grabbed a big one. The brush is so innovative.

Givenchy Noir Interdit Mascara: This was OK. Nothing I was really into. Interesting wand. I’m picky I like volumizing in a specific way.

Naturallogic Hydrate Nutrient Mist: I wish I got to try this more than once but I broke it sadly.

Acqua di Parma Ginepro di Sardegna: This was a nice scent.

Tom Ford Neroli Portifino: Love this one. A citrus cologne.

CLEAN Reserve Sel Santal: A little too floral for me but nice overall.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris Aqua Universalis: I used to love this but it’s almost a bit too feminine for me now. Too floral or something.

Berdoues Vanira Moorea: This was a nice warm vanilla. I wish the pump hadn’t jammed before I finished it.

Sisley Double Tenseur: I love the light priming gel texture of this. More to come as I’m working on a full bottle right now.

Revision Lumiquin Brightening Treatment: This is a hands treatment. I got maybe three uses out of it so hard to really tell what it does in the long run.

Revision Intellishade SPF 45 Matte: I wanted to love this as I have heard great things about it. It left too much of a white cast for me sadly.

Benton Snail Bee High Content Skin: I ended up with a ton of this sample toner. It was nice.

Benton Snail Bee High Content Lotion: This is a light lotion, it’s nice.

Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel: I liked this gel moisturizer. Very thin and lightweight.

it Confidence in a Cleanser: This was OK. Probably the first thing I liked from the brand. That being said it’s not anything spectacular to stand out, but it’s nice. It’s got a thick gel texture.

Kat Burki Marine Collagen Gel: I love this one. Love the scent. Love the hydrating light gel texture. Review HERE.

Amore Pacific Time Response Skin Renewal Creme: Nice cream, hate the perfume scent. Too bad.

Benton Fermentation Essence: This was nice as well. I liked it.

Clarins Double Serum: I have a big one of this to go through when it gets colder. I’m intrigued by it yet it doesn’t seem that extra special. If that makes sense.

Manyo Factory Galactomyces Special Treatment Essence Cream: This was a nice cream. Light cream texture. I like this brand quite a bit.

Omorovicza Omoresence: This essence has such a dreamy scent. Review HERE.

Skyn Iceland Blemish Dots: I adore these. They work so well. Review HERE.

Sisley Nutritive Handcare: I love this hand cream. So nourishing and such a great texture.

OSKIA Renaissance Cleanser: The best gel oil balm cleanser ever. Review HERE.

JKosmmune Lotion: I like this light lotion. The serum steals my heart but the lotion is a nice light one.

Elta MD UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41: I wanted to like this tinted sunscreen but it left too much of a white cast for me.

LaBruna Skin Care Growth Factor Peptide Perfecting Creme: I liked the texture of this cream a lot. It was nice.

LaBruna Skin Care Renewal Smoothing Serum: This has a nice light gel texture. I liked it.

Red Earth Have Fun Hydrating Facial Mask: This is OK. I’m not a big sheet mask fan and it’s paper. I like the gel ones more.

ORIBE Shampoo & Conditioner for Beautiful Color: Love this shampoo & conditioner. So nourishing yet not too much.

Sisley Hair Rituel Precious Hair Care Oil: I used this on my daughters hair. It’s a thicker gel oil. It’s nice.

Rahua Omega 9 Hair Mask: Love this mask. It’s like a heavier conditioner, not too heavy of a mask. I’ve gone through one big one and I would grab another.

Leonor Greyl Bain TS Balancing Shampoo: I want to love Leonor Greyl but the heavy perfume scent kills me.

La Prarie Skin Caviar Essence-In-Foundation Satin Nude N30 & Honey Beige NW30: I promise to be talking more about this soon. I just need to edit some photos. Spoiler-it’s amazing.
