March Samples & Empties Post

I thought I would start making posts about samples I’ve finished, then decided to make it an empties post too. This will be for quick thoughts about the products. I will go left to right in the photo above.

Radical Peptide Infused Antioxidant Serum: This is the second tube of this I’ve gone through, it’s OK. It’s a bit thick and doesn’t absorb fast, the color is a tan shade which I don’t like. I never noticed any results from it, and I’m not a fan of the the thicker, sticky colored texture, so I wouldn’t buy it.

Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream: I have multiple samples of this, I like the cream. It’s yellow, very moisturizing but not too thick and heavy. It’s heavier than the Intense Hydra Lifting Cream, but lighter than the rest of their creams. It can feel a bit greasy for a few minutes until it absorbs. I currently use it on my neck at night, until I run out of the samples. I test a lot of creams on my neck.

La Mer The Eye Concentrate: I’ve tried this multiple times, even deluxe sizes, I used to think it made my dark circles go away, but this time it really didn’t so maybe it was something else I was doing back then. I love the wand the full size comes with more than the eye cream. I’d use the samples if I had them lying around, as it’s moisturizing and not bad, but I wouldn’t buy it at this point as I have other eye creams I like much better right now. Sunday Riley Start Over does well for my dark circles, OSEA Malibu eye cream has the best moisture for night.

Guerlain Cils d’Enfer Maxi Lash Mascara: Eh, I’ve tried this multiple times, I’m just not a fan of the formula. It gives me spider lash. Too defining maybe? Not enough fattening for me.

Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara: My favorite formula ever, will use this forever until they get rid of it. Fattens which is my main want in a mascara, does some lengthening, not so much a defining mascara. I love the non silicone brush, I love the more old fashioned ones. They seem to give less spider lash for me.

In Fiore Complexe de Fleur, Cellular Renewal Complex: 15ml. Got this off of Beautyhabit last fall, it has a thicker liquid texture, gold color, very plant extract smelling. I didn’t notice any stellar results from it so I wouldn’t rebuy it because of the high price, but it wasn’t bad.

LING Skincare Moisture Plenish Serum: This was a clear light liquid texture serum. This is a moisture serum, it was OK, just bland. There are better formulas with more beneficial ingredients added to the hyaluronic acid serum base for the same money. Wouldn’t buy it.

LING Skincare HI Vitamin C 12% Serum: This was OK, an oil based serum kind of like Skinceuticals CE Ferrulic, took a while to absorb in and left a kind of sticky residue for about 5 minutes. I much prefer the Drunk Elephant C Firma.

LING Skincare Spotlight Papaya Resurface Peel: This was terrible, drying and my face hurt after 2 minutes of it being on from the dryness, I promptly washed it off and was done with it.

Guerlain Meteorites Baby Glow Sheer Makeup #3 Medium: This was OK, it was thick, I’m not a huge BB cream fan which is what it reminded me of. The shade was a bit too peach pink for me. I wouldn’t buy it as I prefer other tinted moisturizers more.

Fresh Sugar Face Polish: I have gone through this many times over the last 10 years, it will remain a shower favorite for a long time, may they never discontinue it. I’ve talked about it here
