Nail Polish Review: Deborah Lippmann Virtual Insanity

I got Virtual Insanity in my Barney’s gift bag last month. I probably wouldn’t have bought this shade as I have some similar enough. The color is a deep purple eggplant shade with red shimmer/pearl. From far away it shows up purple, you can only see the red shimmer up close or in the light. It lasts pretty well without chipping and I only needed 2 coats.

I tend to only paint my toenails right now so that’s what my swatches will be of sorry. This has been on my toes for two weeks, not bad. Though, I do owe a good portion to the Orly Rubberized Base Coat and Seche Vite Top Coat. Both make any nail polish I have last longer than other base/top coats I have tried. I’ve never tried Deborah Lippmann before, but the formula was good.
