Renee Rouleau Vitamin Infused Cleansing Emulsion: Review

Renee Rouleau is a brand I truly love. They were one of the first brands I really dove into and tried quite a bit from. Renee Rouleau also helped me get over my adult hormonal acne about six years ago. They recently revamped their packaging and added new products. I’ve been playing with the Vitamin-Infused Cleansing Emulsion for a few months. Vitamin-Infused Cleansing Emulsion by Renée Rouleau gently melts away makeup along with surface dry cell buildup to leave skin feeling soft, fresh and dewy. Details per Renee Rouleau:

Vitamin-Infused Cleansing Emulsion by Renée Rouleau is a luxurious cleansing emulsion that effectively melts away makeup, environmental debris and surface dry cell build up while minimizing signs of chronic irritation that can lead to premature aging. Dry, sensitive skin immediately regains a moist and dewy glow and will be perfectly primed for maximum results from the skincare that follows.

Key Ingredients

  • Niacinamide – repairs skin’s moisture defense barrier function.
  • Green Tea Leaf Extract – soothing plant antioxidant.
  • Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate – stable form of lipid (fat) soluble vitamin C to protect skin cells and restore a brighter radiance.
  • Tocopheryl Linoleate – vitamin E to protects cells from damage.
  • Mugwort Extract – provides soothing relief to keep skin calm.

To effectively use Vitamin-Infused Cleansing Emulsion to clean dehdyrated, aging skin: apply a small amount of cleanser to dry skin. Rub in small circular motions for 30 seconds. Wet fingertips, work through again and rinse well with lukewarm water. Give the skin a final wipe with a damp sponge or wash cloth and proceed with an alcohol-free toner, serum and moisturizer for your skin type.

This is a creamy lush cleanser. It has a milky white color with a hydrating creamy feel. It will not strip your skin at all. It’s not heavy and rinses clean off. It’s perfect for a second cleanse or morning cleanse. I love the package. The plastic pump is well done and it functions well. Not every plastic pump is a decent one. The scent is minimal, barely noticeable, nothing irritating by any means. This should work for all skin types.

My skin feels so soft and hydrated after using this. It’s $35.50 for a 6 oz bottle. I do like that Renee Rouleau keeps things simple and practical in the packaging by using plastic, the prices are reasonable as result. I don’t know why Renee Rouleau hasn’t been picked up by any retailer. It’s only available on her site https://www.reneerouleau.com/. They have this skin type system where you take a quiz to see what skin type you are and it tells you what you should be using in general for your skin. I love that she includes climate in the quiz as it does make such a difference what environment you live in.

  1. hi, i couldnt find the ingredient list for any of her products on her website! in this day and age, it seems very strange. if you still have the ingredient list, could you please post it up? this cleanser sounds fab but i need to check for olive-derived stuft.

  2. I know. You can email them and they'll tell you. Oddly this one item didn't come in a box and it doesn't have the inci list on the bottle. So I never got the full ingredient list. Or I would've listed it. I'll email them and update this.
