rms Beauty Champagne Rose Luminzer: Review & Swatches

I tried the original rms beauty Living Luminizer and reviewed it here. I saw the new Champagne Rose Luminizer and it looked quite pretty so I grabbed it. Details per Sephora:

What it is:
A blush-pink, champagne highlighter that gives skin a seductive, dewy opalescence.

What it does:
The Champagne Rosé Luminizer is a sophisticated, rosé highlighter. It leaves your complexion with just the amount of radiance for an ethereal glow.

The texture is exactly the same as the original, same package and price. This is a glossy highlighter. It’s not sticky, but you well get that glossy sheen. It’s sheer because of it’s glossy nature as it’s hard to pack it on for a stronger highlight. It also wears off fairly quickly, maybe 3 hours so expect to reapply. It does multi-task, you can use it to hold brows in place and on the brow bone as well. I thought about it on the lips but it doesn’t say it’s lip safe so I didn’t try that. There’s nothing bad in the ingredients as it’s a natural brand so you could try it, but you never know with color pigments and shimmers which are lip safe.

Champagne Rose is a pearly beige pink opal. I love the color of this one so much more. It’s got more depth to it. The pearly beige has pink and purple multi-dimensional shimmer in it.  It’s also more pigmented than the original. It shows up on my skin better and looks more natural for my light medium skin tone. I think this one is better than the original and would recommend it if you’re looking for a glossy shimmery, not glittery, pearly beige opal.
