The theme for May’s Sephora Play! subscription box is The Rising Stars.
Beauty on the Rise–This month we’re taking you on a tour of cult favorites, hard-to-find formulas, and one-of-a-kind brands that are making their mark. The 6 samples come in a cute clear envelope style plastic bag.
Rahua Omega 9 Hair Mask I have already used this mask and I love it. I love the Rahua brand in general, it smells like a warm nutty oil and is made form natural ingredients. The mask is not too heavy, no silicones to weigh your hair down. Just the perfect level of moisture.
Grande Lips in Clear I’ve seen this new brand around lately. I usually hate lip plumpers. I don;t like the stinging feel from them, plus it’s always too short lived for me to really feel like continuously applying it. I have not tried this sample yet.
Milk Makeup Blur Stick I wanted to try this when it first came out. Then I decided not to try it when I saw the reviews that it felt very silicone based. I guess now I can try a mini without the guilt of having a big one if it doesn’t work out.
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask I’ve been using this forever. It’s a lightly exfoliating mask comprised of AHA, BHA and pink clay. I like it and I will continue using any samples I get of it. I like the limited edition versions that come out every summer.
Trestique Highlight + Perfect Multipurpose Stick in Maldives Luminescent This looks like a crayon it’s cute. It’s a pretty basic pearly champagne highlighter with a harder cream texture. It reminds me of the one from the Pat McGrath highlight kits. Nothing made this one stand out to me.
Clean Reserve Sel Santal I loved this. It’s light, fresh like a warm woody sea scented air. I loves sea scents they’re my favorite. It doesn’t have the best longevity but that didn’t bother me.
