September Samples & Empties Post

Time for the September samples and empties post. Quick thoughts about each starting left to right:

Tarte Tarteguard 30: I liked this sunscreen. I talked about it here
Paula’s Choice Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum: I loved the ingredients in this except the silicone was too heavy in it. Could have made a good face primer. I prefer their lighter version of this as skincare. This just felt to heavy on.
Beautenizer Fiberwig False Lash Mascara: I got this in a gift bag, I don’t think I would have bought it to try. It gave a nice natural look actually. It did lengthen, wasn’t as good at volume. Eventually it dried out some and got too spiky for me. I prefer volume mascaras which is why it wasn’t for me.
Tata Harper Fortifying Body Lotion: I bought a mini of this to try as a hand serum. Love the scent and texture. If it wasn’t so expensive I would use it on my body. It’s a lighter lotion. I did buy a full size bottle.
Circ-Cell ABO Blood Serum Eye Gel: I got no results from this. Review is here.
Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer: This was OK. I prefer regular more moisturizing tube and pot balms. Personal preference.
Alpha-H Daily Essential Moisturizer SPF 50+: I liked the light non greasy texture. I hate sunscreen in moisturizer as I prefer it to be separate so I can control it. I wouldn’t buy it for that reason. It’s not an anti-aging powerhouse, but it’s a nice moisturizing lotion.
OSEA Sea Minerals: This was OK. I prefer my Tata Harper and Omorovicza mists more.
Circ-Cell ABO Blood Serum Face Rejuvenation: No results for me, just a lightly hydrating serum. Review here.

Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Petal Peel: This is nice. Not drying. Mild peel. I didn’t buy it as I prefer the copper peel by Omorovicza which is also a double style peel. But this was nice, I would recommend it to someone.
Zelens 3t Complex: I’ve finished a jar up and want to write a review. However, while I loved the texture and the way it made my skin feel, I didn’t notice too much in reduction of my forehead lines or more even skin tone. To be fair I was having more dryness and pigmentation as it was at the end of my pregnancy when I used it. I have one 15ml tube left and am going to use it once I’m done with my current night cream to just double check it’s capabilities before I do the full review.
Grown Alchemist Vanilla Orange Hand Cream: This was nice. Nice scent, lighter texture for a hand cream. Not intensely moisturizing. I wouldn’t buy it, this tube was a gift with purchase. I just have other hand creams I like more.
Leonor Greyl Masque Fleurs de Jasmin: This was OK. Way too heavily scented. Is very light for a mask more like a conditioner. I didn’t think it was worth the money.
Argentum La Potion Infinie: I was excited to try this, but it has a slightly odd feel to it. It’s hard to describe. I also found it drying, my guess from the silver. No big results after a week so wouldn’t buy.
Oribe Shampoo for Magnificent Volume: This was OK, first Oribe product I wasn’t a fan of. It dried my hair out too much.
John Masters Organics Lavender & Avocado Conditioner: I love this stuff, it’s a staple. I reviewed it here.

Kat Burki Rose Hip Revitalizing Serum: I’ve tried this several times, it’s OK, feels nice but never awe inspiring for the price it has. It also takes longer to rub in because of the emulsifying wax in it I think. It has a whitish cast until you rub it in for a while. I wouldn’t buy a big bottle.
