September Samples & Empties

Herbivore Botanicals Coco Rose Body Polish: Hero product. Best body scrub. Not too greasy. I go through a tub a month. Review HERE.

eos Shave Cream Vanilla Bliss: Another shower staple. Cheap. Nice light vanilla scent. Review HERE.

Kat Burki Ocean Mineral Gel Cleanser: I liked this light gel cleanser in the shower. I would buy again, in fact I have one in the closet to pull out soon. Review HERE.

Bumble And Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner: Love the scent. This is a bit more moisturizing and heavy than I normally like. I used this more like a mask.

I’m From Honey Mask: Adore this K Beauty mask. Manuka honey, and eek snail filtrate. Hydrating and actually not too pricey. Harder to find now. Review HERE.

Rahua Voluminous Shampoo: I love Rahua. The scent is always amazing. I do prefer the original version of their shampoos and conditioners. Just a touch more hydrating.

Omorovicza Omoressence: I liked this watery hydrating essence. It has a sweet smell. Review HERE.

May Lindstrom The Jasmine Garden: I liked this. It has a stunning package. I prefer other mists more. Review HERE.

The Chemisty Brand Hand Chemistry: I wanted to like this. It was really hydrating. Not greasy necessarily but it has a weird slippery maybe waxy kind of texture. Almost too much for day use. I just didn’t like the texture and it has a pretty powerful floral scent.

Renee Rouleau Total Eye Repair Cream: I love Renee Rouleau. This was my second tube of this eye cream. It’s a medium weight eye cream. It did help reduce my fine lines. Review HERE.

LING Skincare Ginseng Therapy Moisture Mask: I wanted to like this. A clear gel hydrating mask. This is thicker. It just dries down a bit too much for me. It dries my skin out more than hydrating it.

Tata Harper Skincare Revitalizing Body Oil: Love this oil. I like Tata Harpers stronger essential oil blend in her body products. I talked about it HERE.

Ante AGE GF Serum: I love this serum. It’s an odd serum that we’re not all used to using human growth factors. It’s a clinical brand. I have bought two tubes and would continue to repurchase. Makes my skin glow. Review HERE.

Sisley Paris Botanical Floral Toning Lotion: I wanted to like this rose toner. Way too powdery of a rose scent for me. Onto the next one.

Yes! Nurse Protect Your Lovely Hands: I used to really like this. Made by a nurse and it has honey. I really have been into Omorovicza and some others that are a touch thinner lately. I talked about it HERE.

ORIBE Gold Lust Dry Shampoo: This is the best dry shampoo ever. Not too dry nor powdery. Invisible with no white cast. I would absolutely repurchase.

Yves Saint Laurent The Shock Volumizing Mascara Black: I liked this. Voluminous. I think I have another sample to play with.

The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%: I wanted to love this but I hated the silicone texture. I banished use to my hands and wouldn’t repurchase. Review HERE.

By Terry Baume De Rose Crystalline: I like this more liquid balm version. Still has that really strong By Terry rose scent.

Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Rejuvinating Cream: This is a nice hydrating cream. I hate Amore Pacific’s strong floral scent it’s too much for me. The cream has a nice medium texture.

Murad Essential-C Sun Balm: I pulled this out of my purse when I was cleaning it out and decided it’s done. It’s a balm sunscreen. It was great for being portable. It was clear. It felt too heavy to be a regular daily sunscreen. Looks sold out or discontinued.

Maybelline Expert Wear Blonde: The color of this is perfect for me. I also cleared this out of my purse. It was old. It’s just too stiff for me. So affordable.

Milk Makeup Blur Stick: This wasn’t as greasy as I thought it would be. I thought it would be a silicone heavy greasier style priming stick, but it actually was harder and drier. The tan color blends right into my skin tone. I didn’t like it enough to buy it, I like more liquid versions of matte primers.

African Botanics Marula Intense Skin Repair Balm: I thought this would be too heavy for me. However, this oil balm really hydrated my skin without being greasy. It makes my skin just super hydrated and glowy the next morning. No breakouts at all. I bought a big jar and more to come.

Zelens 3t Complex: This is the best cream ever. Medium weight. Never greasy. Just sinks in for perfectly hydrated skin. It makes my skin glow and my lines disappear by the next morning, at least temporarily. More to come.

Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask: Love this. I luckily have enough minis that I’ve never had to buy a big tube. Though I would. Hydrating cream mask, makes your skin just plumped up and glowing. The rose scent is not too much for me like other Sisley items.

Algenist Genius Liquid Collagen: I know pretty much everyone on Instagram loved this. I didn’t. First the dropper is terrible. The gel with bursting beads is fun. The texture is way to thick for the small size dropper it has. It needs a pump. It smells strongly of vanilla cake which I just don’t like for some reason. It was not heavy as in greasy or oily, but it does have an oil based gel texture. This will be good for dry skin. It was a little too much for me.

Byredo Mojave Ghost Eau De Parfum: Loved this. I bought a big one. A lighter woody scent. Byredo is just good and one of my newest perfumery obsessions the last few years.

MAC Lip Pencil Spice: I cleared this out of my purse too. Last little nub. This was the original spice lip pencil (the new one is darker). It was ten years old and time to go. Sadly.

Shiseido Facial Cotton: Love these. They’re a staple for me.

Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Peel Pads: These are always OK. I’ll use them but I feel like the pad exfoliators are overpriced and prefer a bottle in general. These are great for travel.

Sisley Paris Eye Contour Mask: I have a large tube of this. I get samples in my subscription box. I love this gel eye hydrator for when I’m masking as it keeps my eye area from drying out while masking.

Amore Pacific Vintage Single Extract Essence: I love the idea of this vintage green tea single extract toner. It’s not heavily scented like other Amore Pacific items. It’s on my list to get at the Sephora Rouge 20% off event in two days.

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel: Love this hyaluronic acid gel with pineapple extract. Yum. Review HERE.

Omorovicza Elemental Emulsion: Love this lightweight fluid. It’s perfect to layer with other skincare to get the hydration level you want. Review HERE.

Skyn Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels: Love these. They stay put on your face too bonus! More coming eventually on these.

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask: Eh it’s OK. Kind of a just like a gel that was just OK. Nothing special for me.

La Mer The Treatment Lotion: Slippery hydrating toner. I like it but not enough to buy it.

EVE LOM Daily Protection + SPF 50: I thought I liked this lotion as it had no white cast, but it contains Oxybenzone, a hormone disrupter chemical sunscreen. It’s the only chemical one I refuse to use ever.

EVE LOM Gel Balm Cleanser: This new gel balm cleanser is the best EVE LOM one so far. Similar to OSKIA Renaissance. More to come.

EVE LOM Cleanser: This is too heavy for me, I’m not a fan. I don’t like the little beads in it either.

Blithe Energy Yellow Citrus & Honey Patting Water Mask: This is interesting. Use in the shower. This is the citrus AHA exfoliating type.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer Custard:This was OK. A light creamy more liquid concealer. Not enough for me.

Klorane Shampoo with Olive Oil Extract: I liked this a lot actually. Light scent. Hydrating without being too heavy. Might actually grab it one day.

Briogeo Blossom & Bloom Conditioner: I like this. It ‘s hydrating without being heavy. I’ve used a full size before.

SACHAJUAN Normal Hair Shampoo: Their stuff is just so heavily scented I have a hard time getting into it.

Nars Soft Matte Concealer Custard: This was creamy and medium to full coverage. It didn’t beat my favorite Surratt concealer so it just sat there until it dried out.

Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer Warm Beige: The color was OK for me actually. However this was a thick creamy concealer that was like spackle. It goes on so thick I didn’t enjoy it at all.
