So I haven’t posted an update in a while. It’s been a whirlwind since December with my dad’s Lymphoma turning terminal and his passing in February. I recently went back to work, I’m a nurse Case Manager. So I now have a full time schedule now and a 10 month old. I’ve been trying get into a routine and prioritize. I need a 36 hour day. So that’s why it’s been slower on here. But life is never predictable and planned and ‘it is what it is’ as my dad always said.

On a positive note look at my view to work everyday. Makes getting up at 5 am everyday a touch better. However, only a touch there’s no real plus to getting up at five. I just tell myself there is.

This is the view from one of the floors. Surreal for a girl who’s always had mountains and never water. This is on Galveston Island in Texas.

And here’s the 10 month old Ella who’s getting into everything as expected.

She makes it all worthwhile.

No crawling or walking yet, but very close to crawling as it’s constant flopping and four legged motion. We discovered we love clapping this month, clucking our tongue and stealing mommys lipsticks and makeup brushes. She’s after my heart already.

On a more blog related note, I have the Nordstrom Anniversary Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette Dolce Vita on its way to me now. I currently have around 60 draft posts to work on and I’m usually trying to publish reviews of the new stuff that just came out first. I got the new Hourglass Vanish Foundation this week and it’s amazing so I’ll be working on that post soon. I can only do pictures on weekends now so that limits my ability to get new items reviewed in the same week.
As always thanks for reading. I appreciate all of you for allowing me to do this fun blog.
