Urban Decay Gash Revolution Lipstick: Swatches & Review

In the 90s one of my favorite lipsticks was Gash by Urban Decay. It was this deep metallic red. It had the most drying, worst formula however. It became discontinued many years back, but has made a comeback this year in a new formula, the Revolution lipstick. Gash is a shade available only on Urban Decay’s website right now as far as I know. The retail is $22.
The Revolution formula is a richly pigmented long lasting yet moisturizing formula. It’s not super moist, but it’s comfortable, especially compared to the older formula. The color is a slightly shimmery deep red. The shimmer is not really noticeable on the lips. It’s not a cool or pink red, it’s more brick neutral to cool deep red. If you like a comfortable, pigmented, creamy red this is for you. This is not a matte extremely long lasting lipstick.
