Why I LOVE OSKIA Renaissance Cleansing Gel & Mask

Today was a cloudy and a particularly bad light day for swatching makeup. So I did some skincare. OSKIA is a British skincare brand I came across on Cultbeauty. They’re supposed to be more natural and don’t use parabens, alcohol or sulfates. I tried the Renaissance Mask first, then ordered the Cleansing Gel. I have also tried almost all their other stuff, but that’s for another day.

OSKIA Cleansing Gel is a 150mL pump bottle. This is a gel oil cleanser, is can be washed off with just water and doesn’t need a cloth like regular cleansing balms. Gel cleansers are nice as they are not quite as oily as a regular cleansing balm or oil. They remove makeup well as a first step, then you can double cleanse and remove impurities and extra oil leftover with a non oil based cleanser.

This is from the OSKIA Website about the cleanser:

ILLUMINATING VITAMIN & PUMPKIN ENZYME FACIAL CLEANSER
With Vitamins A, C & E, Omega 6, Starflower Oil, Pumpkin Enzymes, Chamomile & Rose
(For all skin types, particularly combination, normal, dull or dry)
A new generation non-foaming cleansing gel-to-oil that melts into skin to quickly and gently remove impurities and makeup while actively illuminating and nourishing to reveal balanced, clean, fresh, radiant skin that feels soft and smooth. Wonderfully rich in vitamins.

The cleanser has pumpkin enzyme, which means I was sold on it right away as I love pumpkin in my skincare. The cleanser is a pink/orange thick gel. It has a great scent and I can’t think of anything bad to say about it. It works well, and makes me love washing my face.

The Renaissance Mask was my first OSKIA introduction. I got it in a Cultbeauty gift bag with purchase, and promptly bought a full 50mL size after. The mask has lactic acid and is exfoliating and moisturizing at the same time. It’s a thick light pink gel that turns a white color when you rub it on your face. It also has a great scent and comes in a glass jar. This is one of those masks you just have to try first, then it converts you, but is not well known especially here in the US. It doesn’t sting(unless you have an open area) but does tingle a bit. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off. It leaves my skin glowing and is a medium exfoliation mask. It’s not hard core, but it’s not minimal. If I only had one mask I could keep, this would be it.

On the L is the mask(you can see the bottom half is white as I rubbed it in some to show you), on the R is the cleanser:

From the OSKIA Website about the mask:

A NUTRI-ACTIVE RADIANCE, BRIGHTENING & RESURFACING MASK WITH MAJOR ANTI-AGEING BENEFITS TO REVEAL A BRIGHTER, FRESHER LOOKING YOU
With MSM, Passionfruit, Grape, Lemon & Grapefruit AHA’s, Papaya Enzymes, Swiss Garden Cress Liposomes, Ribose & Butterbur.
Designed to increase cell turnover, boost radiance and packed with OSKIA’s trademark blend of beauty-boosting nutrients, this luxuriously-textured exfoliating mask leaves the complexion smoother, more refined and illuminated. Our testing panel thought its natural perfume so delicious they wanted to eat it! Suitable for all skin types and with a fresh aromatic scent combining rose, passion fruit and chamomile, all organically certified, OSKIA’s Renaissance Mask works hard to remove tired skin cells and boost cell regeneration and ATP energy without aggressively stripping the top layers of the epidermis. Pink initially, the luxurious and uniquely textured cream turns white once properly massaged into the skin, helping clients know when it’s been applied effectively.

These are two of my favorite skincare items, check them out if you get the chance.
