I posted about Aromaleigh Cosmetics here. The first set I'm going to review is the highlighters. I have three for now: Seven, Virgo Supercluster and Fibonacci Sequence. I did order 2 or 3 more shades in the second order that's on it's way.
Per Aromaleigh: "SEVEN (highlighter/multipurpose powder), a pale golden cream shifting to green, from the Minotaur Menagerie collection. SEVEN is face, cheek, lip and eye safe." I bought a 1/4t sample baggie for $2. Can't beat that. I LOVE this shade. I feel it's more of a purple based beige with a green shift. On the skin it looks beige. I'm a sucker for anything that shifts green. The shimmer is super fine, and the green shift is not too strong. It's easily wearable in an office environment. It's not powdery, it lasts 6-8 hours. The base melts into my skin, so I just notice the light shimmer. It's not frosty and it's subtle. It's become a favorite quickly and I ordered a bigger jar. If you're looking for a unique highlighter in the sea of ordinary, yet for one that is still wearable for day or office, grab Seven. For the price it's worth it.
Virgo Supercluster per Aromaleigh: "Mission Three includes 7 iridescent/glowy multipurpose highlighters inspired by the universe and galaxies. These can be used anywhere- eyes, lips, cheeks, face… and make amazing highlighters and strobing powders. Use over different bases for different effects. These have a fine, lustrous/satin finish. Virgo Supercluster has a buff base and glows with a vibrant green iridescence." Seven and Virgo Supercluster look very similar until swatched. Virgo Supercluster is more intense, frosty and vibrant. Seven is the tamed down version which I prefer. You don't need both. I found you could overdo it with this one and it got too frosty and the green was too much for a day look, so start light when applying this one. I'll use this one more on my eyes I imagine. I grabbed the mini jar for $7.
Fibonacci Sequence per Aromaleigh: "Mission Three includes 7 iridescent/glowy multipurpose highlighters inspired by the universe and galaxies. These can be used anywhere- eyes, lips, cheeks, face… and make amazing highlighters and strobing powders. Use over different bases for different effects. These have a fine, lustrous/satin finish. Fibonacci Sequence has a buff base with a strong copper glow in person." I feel like it has more of a pink/copper glow but otherwise accurate description. It's not as frosty as Virgo Supercluster. I bought a mini jar for $7 which is plenty of product.
I am totally pleased with all these highlighters. They're not super frosty or glittery. They're finely milled and for the price you can't beat them. You can use them on eyes, face and lips, bonus. I would highly recommend them to anyone for the quality and price. I would buy Seven and Fibonacci Sequence again, Seven being my favorite of the bunch.
