Blonde Eye Brow Pencil Comparison: Surratt, Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Cle de Peau & MAC

Lately I have been trying to find a new blonde brow pencil. My favorite MAC Impeccable Brow Pencil was discontinued so I had to find another before mine ran out. Tom Ford is the last one I need to try. So I have a comparison of MAC Impeccable Brow Pencil in Blonde to: Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Blonde, Surratt Expresioniste Brow Pencil in Blonde, Cle de Peau Brow Pencil in 203 and Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift in Grace K. With the exception of the MAC these all have a spoolie brush on the end. Cle de Peau and Surratt are refillable, the others are not.

MAC and Hourglass are the most waxy of the bunch and the softest, therefore they wear off quicker. Cle de Peau is harder but the next softest. Charlotte Tilbury and Surratt are the hardest pencil, they also last longer in turn. Color wise for blonde they all have a wide range. Cle de Peau is the warmest and lightest, followed by MAC. Hourglass and Charlotte Tilbury are more taupe and dirty blonde colored. Surratt is warmer than Hourglass and Charlotte Tilbury but it's darker than all on. I love the Cle de Peau and MAC lighter warmness for my brows because my natural color is more ashy. I like adding the warmth personally. I look forward to trying Tom Ford as when I passed by it last month at the mall it was warmer.

Shape wise Surratt is the skinny round stick, MAC is a wood pencil, Cle de Peau is the only one with a unique oval shape, Charlotte Tilbury and Hourglass are a triangle shape that has a wide end and a skinny end.

As an edit several weeks later I add: the Charlotte Tilbury is disappointing. The gold lettering on the pencil faded off in a week of use. It's almost all gone a month later now. And I've barely touched it. It also has this compartment I didn't realize was in it. It's a highlighter powder with a sponge tip applicator. The color is a shimmery warm peach champagne shade. I stumbled across this by accident. It's supposed to be a highlighter powder for brow bones. I've never used it for that as it's not my shade I prefer cooler and lighter colors.
