Occasionally I use a product once and am immediately hooked. This would be one of those products. Herbivore Botanicals is a small natural brand who makes skincare products. They do a few face items, some body products and hair as well. Their Sea Mist salt spray for hair is one of my favorites. I saw this Coco Rose Coconut Oil Body Polish pop up on Nordstrom and I ordered it. I usually stay away from expensive body scrubs but loved the sound of this one.

Per Herbivore's website: "Coco Rose Body Polish is a highly moisturizing and gently exfoliating blend of virgin coconut oil and delicately floral Bulgarian Rose Absolute. Leaves your skin soft and hydrated with a light scent of coconut and rose petals."

This sugar body scrub is amazing and it just became my favorite. The sugar isn't too harsh, yet it does its job. The oils deposit just enough for moisture yet isn't too greasy. This is less greasy than the oils left from Bath and Body Works, but more than the Tree Hut one I get at Ulta. The scent is a combination of true coconut oil and a non overpowering rose. The sad part, it's $36 for an 8 oz glass jar. I did not experience any breakouts after using like I can sometimes with a body oil product. I actually found I needed a touch of light lotion on my legs and arms after using this, so it deposited some oils but not a ton. These are great when you're in a hurry and want to get your moisture in the shower, to save you putting on lotion after, plus get an exfoliation. This is exactly what I am looking for in a sugar body scrub, I will keep looking to see if I can find something comparable for cheaper.

Coconut Oil: Like coconuts themselves, coconut oil is rich in many proteins. These proteins keep skin healthy and rejuvenated, both internally and externally. Bulgarian Rose Absolute: Rose Absolute has high levels of antioxidant tocopherols, phenolics, and beta carotenes to fight aging and cellular damage in the skin. It is soothing, cooling, and anti-inflammatory, making it ideal for sensitive skin. It is antibacterial and astringent, keeping pores clean and refined.
