May Lindstrom Skin The Jasmine Garden: Review

I stayed away from May Lindstrom for a while. Mainly because the price threw me off. Finally I caved and grabbed The Jasmine Garden Botanical Facial Mist. Details per May Lindstrom:

Tantalize skin with a fluttering of aromatic kisses, each delicious droplet infusing cells with antioxidant protection, restoring elasticity and delivering a flood of calming relief to even the most delicate complexions.

Romance and tempt your exotic spirit with the gentle sensory experience of a lush botanical garden in the tropics, somewhere near a field of cocoa beans drenched in warm rain.

The Result Discover lightness and magic in skin dewy with botanical nectar.

The Ritual Mist generously over freshly cleansed skin before and after oils to seal in hydration and nutrition and again after makeup to set and impart a gorgeous glow. If you are feeling indulgent (and you should be), don’t stop there—this is beautiful spritzed head to toe all throughout the day to revive and elevate mood, skin and hair.

The packaging is exquisite. Nothing like sleek black glass to do it for you. The mist sprays out fine which is a bonus. This is a hydrating mist. So not necessarily something you need but more of a want. I like using a spray after toning in the daytime. A quick spritz is always a morning refresher. You can obviously use this throughout the day as a pick me up as well if desired.

May Lindstrom is an all natural, organic, wild-crafted vegan brand. Perfect for the green beauty lovers. This spray has a vanilla, cocoa, jasmine scent. It’s light and nothing overpowering. This contains witch hazel which is anti-inflammatory and great for blemish prone skin. Silver is anti-bacterial and helps with wound healing so also great for blemish prone skin. The rest of the ingredient list is very minimal it’s all oils like jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang. As well as vanilla and cocoa oil for a warmth in scent.

This is hydrating because of the oils. It’s great for blemish prone skin. It’s also very expensive at $70 for 100 ml. For just a face mist I would have a hard time buying it again because of the price. I don’t have blemish prone skin anymore so I don’t need the silver. There are also all kinds of great hydrating facial mists for a lower price. If you have the budget and are into organic skincare you’ll be into this. It’s a lovely mist. It’s just a little overpriced for a face mist. Like a lot of face mists are. It was nice but I never had a moment while using that said I can’t live without this.
