This came in my December Glossybox. I've been using it for a little while and it's one impressive hand scrub, so I thought I would talk about it by itself. I was using St Ives Apricot Scrub on my hands before getting this, it works, but this Rituals scrub has oils in it and you almost don't need hand cream after using it.
The texture is thick and you rub it on your hands dry, then you rinse off. Don't add water to make it easier to scrub with, it dissolves the salt, as I learned from personal experience. The oils stay on your hands after keeping them soft. It's very much like an oil sugar or salt body scrub that leaves the oils behind adding moisture to your skin. It doesn't feel really greasy or oily after rinsing and after about five minutes absorbs fully. I would definitely buy this again.
The tube is 75 ml and retail is $17. The main ingredients are: hydrogenated polydecene(synthetic polymer that conditions skin), sodium chloride(salt grains), shea butter, coconut triglyceride, vitamin E, sunflower seed oil, glycerin, ginkgo biloba and ginseng extract.
This is the texture right out of the tube before you rub it in & rinse it off:
