Tory Burch has a limited cosmetics line. I tried Pas Du Tout lipstick when it first launched and the color was just too sheer for me, it just didn't add anything to my lips. I decided to try one more and picked Son of a Gun, which looked a touch darker. The formula is very sheer, slightly glossy, and thin like a typical sheer lipstick, very similar to MAC's Lustre formula. It doesn't last long maybe 2 hours max with no eating or drinking, and I find it slightly drying, just like MAC's Lustres.
Son of a Gun is a sheer, slightly shimmery browned warm rose. The shimmer doesn't show up on lips, it looks like a cream. The case is an orange and gold plastic. I have to admit it feels cheap for being Tory Burch and for the retail price of $32. This lipstick was a bust for me, the color was almost a touch darker than I wanted, plus the formula was lacking for me for the price I paid. I wasn't a big fan of either color of the lipstick I tried, plus the formula was lackluster, so I can't see myself purchasing another. I also see Sephora has stopped carrying the color line from Tory Burch as well, which was where I got this from last winter.
awesome
