Lets start off with the stunning luxe black glass bottle. Perfection. I love the minimalist yet luxe aesthetic of African Botanics. The product itself is just a tad thicker than water so it comes in a splash style bottle. The liquid has a slippery hydrating texture. It's like a thin essence. It has a clear slightly reddish brown kind of color. I find it hydrating, it absorbs quickly leaving skin hydrated especially for just an essence. So this is a serum meets essence kind of product. It has the texture of an essence and the benefits of a serum. Infusion is such a multi-tasker. It softens, soothes, hydrates, brightens, rejuvenates, improves texture and it helps protect against environmental stress and pollution with adaptogens and antioxidants.

There are a lot of African ingredients used in the African Botanics line as a whole. These are the same key ingredients you see in all their products. It's probably why I've come to adore them so much because there's just something magical about their products. These African native plants are the Resurrection plant (hydrating, restorative), honeybush (anti-inflammatory), roobois (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory), kigelia fruit (anti-inflammatory, antibacterial), marula oil (antioxidant, high in vitamin C & E) and Aloe Ferox (aids in wound healing, antibacterial and it's superior to regular aloe as an anti-inflammatory). The addition of Kalahari Desert Salt is great. That really helps soften and rejuvenate skin. Witch hazel has antioxidants and tannins which give it an astringent property.

Lactic acid and natural salicylic acid from willow bark help resurface the skin. Sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid complex and avocado oil unsaponifiables hydrate while allantoin, chamomile, marshmallow and horsetail soothe the skin. Infusion has flower extracts Immortelle (anti-inflammatory), rose flower (soothing, hydrating, anti-inflammatory) and neroli (antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, rejuvenating). White lupine rejuvenates and helps stimulate collagen production. Vitamin C ester and CoQ10 brighten and provide antioxidant protection neutralizing free radicals. Micro-algae and seaweed are packed with nutrients. They hydrate, contain antioxidants, amino acids, proteins, vitamins and minerals.

Infusion is so easy to add into a routine. I apply after cleansing and toning (if I even tone) but before serums, oils and creams. I've been using it nightly for about a month. It layers well, sinks right in and adds instant hydration and a softness to the skin. This has quickly become a hero product for me. It's a phenomenal product and it's odd to say that so quickly but I never want to be without it. Ever. It ticks all the boxes for me-texture, quality, stellar ingredients, luxe packaging and results. The inci list is to die for and I'm not surprised it's so good. Everything African Botanics touches is like gold. My face has never felt so soft. Infusion seems to hydrate, rejuvenate and firm my skin so well. I'm officially obsessed.
