Allies of Skin is one of my all time favorite brands. They launched a few new things last year and I’ve been very slow in posting this review. So the 1A All-Day Mask has been reformulated and renamed as the 1A All-Day Pollution Repair Mask. Details per Allies of Skin:

This used to have a light gel cream texture now it has a heavier gel cream texture. You can call this a day mask or a day cream. Honestly you don’t have to use this only on days, you can use this on nights as well. It’s packed with antioxidants and brighteners so it gives skin benefits any time of day. I won’t go anymore into the ingredients since they did a bang up job. The old version (Review HERE) I used more as a layering product. I like to use a gel cream below a lotion for multiple light layers. It was beautiful for that and I loved it to death. The new one can be used alone as a day cream which was not able to be done with the old one. So it’s just different ways of using it. I can only use this new version as a cream alone during warmer months, in the winter I need a bit heavier cream but I still like to layer this one under in the winter. It’s not too heavy for that (for me anyway).
I love the detail to formulation Allies of Skin does. They really pack everything in one targeted formula so you can use less products. Everything has been high quality and effective. I actually really liked the layerability of the old formulation but the new one is nice as well. It has a nice portable airless pump as well. One minute I think I like the old one better, one minute I like the new one. It’s a tough choice. If you want an all in one antioxidant and brightening gel cream for days this one is really nice. This moisturizer has potent antioxidants with the good stuff like ceramides, vitamin c, niacinimide & probiotics. It helps protect from UV radiation & blue light in addition to traditional antioxidant protection. I also love that they include honey as it has so many wonderful skin benefits.

This is such a lightweight yet potent hydrating cream. I love this from spring-fall but put it away in the winter to use heavier creams. This is the most lightweight of all the Allies of Skin products as far as a moisturizing cream. It’s perfect for days. Again I won’t get into all of the ingredients benefits as they did a great job on their site. This is such a well rounded day cream with antioxidants (including blue light protection), probiotcs, niacinimide, honey, tamanu oil and barrier loving ingredients like ceramides and phospholipids. It even has a fermented black tea persian silk tree extract for help with glycation (in the long run glycation causes aging). I love the healing benefits of tamanu oil. Superoxide dismutase and green tea are some of my favorite antioxidants.
This day cream is so light yet it makes my skin feel like a million dollars. It gives my skin the most amazing soft and silky texture. This is one of those creams that makes you want to touch your face all day long after you apply it because it’s so soft and silky. It layers well with everything and has a phenomenal well rounded formulation. It’s silicone free so no pilling. The honey and probiotics will help with breakouts. This moisturizer should suit everyone even more acne prone or oily skin types. Dry skin may have to layer this in the winter or move to something heavier. You can actually mix these two creams for a nice day concoction. If I had to pick a favorite of the two it definitely would be the Molecular Multi-Nutrient Day Cream. I will repurchase this one for life. This has made it to my top three day moisturizers of all time. Easily.
