You all know how much I adore brand Allies of Skin. Phenomenal skincare line with really great ingredients and effective formulations. They have some new serums and I’m going to start going through them. First up is the Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum. This is what it sounds like, a hydrating serum with antioxidants. Like all Allies of Skin it’s not an ordinary formulation, it’s well done. Details per Allies of Skin:
A hydration + repair serum (pH 4.3-5.1) supercharged with 3 forms of Hyaluronic Acid (Low Molecular Weight, High Molecular Weight and Botanical Polysaccharide), 5% Resveratrol Ferment, 2% Superoxide Dismutase and multiple antioxidants to intensely hydrate, brighten and strengthen dehydrated skin. The optimal concentration of powerful antioxidants, 5% Resveratrol Ferment and 2% Superoxide Dismutase, in this daily serum, speed up healing and offer dramatic reduction in inflammation, promote firming and rebuild damaged skin and ultimately, erasing signs of ageing. This serum comes packaged in an airless pump that has a cool twist top. The outside circle swivels down then you can pump the product. It’s lightweight and easy to travel with. The serum has a gel serum texture with a peachy color. I find it very hydrating and while it does take a few minutes to sink in it’s not really sticky or anything. It’s just that nice hydrating gel serum texture. If you want to combine antioxidants after your vitamin C with hyaluronic acid then this is your serum. It’s got power house niacinamide, superoxide dismutase, botanical and real hyaluronic acid (low & high molecular weight), resveratrol, strawberry extract, epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG, catechin/polyphenol from green tea, it’s that potent natural antioxidant part), honey, astaxanthin & peptide palmitoyl tripeptide-38 (boosts collagen production).
So you have all the forms of hyaluronic acid you want-botanical, low & high molecular weight, four powerful antioxidants-superoxide dismutase, resveratrol, astaxanthin & EGCG, plus multi-tasker niacinamide (B3, reduce pore size, helps even skin tone, decrease fine lines & wrinkles, improve barrier repair) and collagen boosting peptides. I never knew strawberry extract helped keep hyaluronic acid from breaking down. I think I need more strawberry in my life now. Overall it’s a fantastic hydrating and antioxidant serum as I would expect from Allies of Skin. Their formulations are always fantastic. It’s a great compliment to vitamin C or in lieu of if you don’t like or can’t tolerate vitamin C. I would easily repurchase again.
