Omorovicza Omoressence: Review

It's no secret that I love Omorovicza skin care products. I've been playing with their new Omoressence for a while now. Described as a balancing and hydrating liquid moisturizer for all skin types. Details per Omorovicza:

Applied immediately after cleansing, this balancing and hydrating essence prepares the skin for further treatment by helping it to attract and retain moisture. It restores skin’s ideal balance and guards against environmental stress throughout the day.

  • A complex of amino acids, natural emollients and humectants restore skin’s ideal physiological balance, boosting its ability to retain moisture all day long and providing a feel of instant comfort.
  • Rhamnose polysaccharide prevents harmful bacteria from accumulating on the skin’s surface and reduces inflammation, as well as preventing environmental stress caused by pollution and UV.
  • The mineral silicium boosts collagen strength and elasticity, aiding the skin’s natural repair process. A substitute for organic silicium found in the epidermis which collapses with age, leading to thinner skin, this ingredient helps to re-densify and lift the skin.
  • Omorovicza’s patented Hydro Mineral Transference™ delivery system leaves skin firmer, more supple and younger-looking.
This comes in a tall, slim frosted glass bottle. It has a watery texture and is clear in color. It has a slightly sweet scent, almost like sweet almond oil. However, it's not too overpowering or strong. It feels like a cool drink of water for your skin. It's hydrating, refreshing and I quite love slapping it on my face at night.

There's something about the Omorovicza Thermal Water in their products. I love the Queen of Hungary Mist and while they're similar products, Omoressence is more hydrating with more hydrating ingredients. Omoressence retails for $120 for a 3.4 fl oz bottle, Queen of Hungary Mist is $90 for 3.4 fl oz. If I had to choose one of the two I would pick the Queen of Hungary Mist. Having both is nice. Omoressence is more advanced but I've been using Queen of Hungary Mist forever and it's a Hero Product for me.

  1. Omorovicza products are the best; I agree with your comments about the thermal water. Makes my skin very soft.

  2. I was underwhelmed by the Omoressence too. It wasn't bad, it just failed to leave any impression. The Tatcha essence (which I've just finished) was even more meh. I'll be switching back to the Su-Man rehydrating essence. I love that one.
