Acaderma Better With Age Creams

By now you all know how much I love the brand Acaderma. I think of it as a brand that utilizes ways to use existing ingredients or extracts in new ways with green chemistry. You can read my first description about the brand HERE. They launched two new creams and they’re fantastic. First the creams come in a refillable container so buy the outside once and refill the inside reducing plastic waste. Just screw it into the base. Both are called Better With Age which I like. It’s nice that they didn’t call it anti-aging whatever cream. I prefer well-aging or better with age over anti-aging as it has a more positive connotation.

Better With Age Rejuvenating Rich Cream is the heaviest cream. Details per Acaderma:

This cream, even though listed as the rich one, is actually still pretty light. It’s more medium weight. If you have dry skin this won’t be a traditional night cream for you. I love the bouncy smooth glossy light texture. It’s never heavy or greasy. It’s definitely more of a summer night cream for me or a day winter cream. Keep in mind I have dry skin. More combo skin types will find this a perfect night cream for them without it being too heavy, more dry skin may find this is not enough for them. I could see this being really nice under a balm in the winter though as a nice cushy hydrating layer. This has an earthy scent to it from the coffee oil. I really like it’s scent. There’s no essential oils it’s just scent from the natural ingredients. This has CBD, ceramides, peptides, bakuchiol and coffee seed oil (a favorite of mine). Obviously I love it. There’s nothing to not like. Great texture, nice ingredients. It’s plumping, sinks in quickly without being heavy. I haven’t gotten to test long term benefits by using it every night for weeks but honestly no one uses the same cream every night for weeks. Well at least me. Ultimately I have a feeling this will be a combo skin favorite as those with dry skin will have to layer it. It’s a nice layer though for even dry skin.

Better With Age Replenishing Light Cream is a more gel cream texture and the lighter of the two. Details per Acaderma:

The gel cream is light in texture. Not the lightest one ever, not the heaviest one ever. It has a nice combination of prebiotics, peptides, ceramides, MSM, astaxanthin and their patented Seh-Haw EX™ which is an anti-inflammatory extracted from Kinkeliba tea. It’s silicone free for those looking for that and it layers beautifully. Oily skin will find this suitable as a moisturizer, dry skin will need to layer this as a cushy hydrating layer. I would use this one on days honestly and the other on nights. It has a silky texture and no discernible scent. It should suit all skin types easily even sensitive. I have yet to be disappointed in an Acaderma product. The’ve all had great textures, great though put into their products, they work well with my skin and deliver. I see this gel cream being a great day cream or layer for pretty much anyone looking for “anti-aging”, antioxidant protection and happy skin. This will be next as one I use on a daily basis so stay tuned. I just wanted to give you an intro on these two.
