Adsorb: Gel Mask Moist, Brightening Clay Mask, Moist Lotion

I talked about Adsorb Beauty the J Beauty luxury brand last year. They have the ostrich antibody complex and you can read about the brand and technology on my first post HERE. They launched three new products in the form of two masks and a lotion product that’s really more of an essence. The Brightening Clay Mask is a nice clay mask. I use a clay mask on occasion. They’re good for a detox, pore cleansing & tightening. Details per Adsorb:

Brightening Clay Mask consists of our Dual Natural AntiBody Complex to deep clean, moisturize and brighten skin for a natural and healthy-looking glow. It contains Ceramide AntiBody and Melanin AntiBody to improve and prevent dark spots and freckles.

Key Ingredients

  • Whitening/Brightening: BIS-GLYCERYL ASCORBATE, 3-O-ETHYL ASCORBIC ACID, MAGNESIUM ASCORBYL PHOSPHATE, PLACENTAL PROTEIN, FULLERENES, HYDROLYZED PRUNUS DOMESTICA, PTEROCARPUS MARSUPIUM BARK EXTRACT, MYRCIARIA DUBIA FRUIT EXTRACT
  • Skin Tightening: PASSIFLORA EDULIS FRUIT EXTRACT
  • Promoting Turn over: LACTOBACILLUS/GRAPE JUICE FERMENT FILTRATE
  • Anti Inflammatory: SCIADOPITYS VERTICILLATA BRANCH/LEAF EXTRACT

This one dries down a bit more than I like so I didn’t reach for it very often. I’m really picky about my clay masks, they need a ton of oils to keep them moist at the same time (I actually don’t like most clay masks so it’s no surprise if you see me say it). This clay version by Adsorb has multiple forms of vitamin C with the antibody complex. I didn’t get to use it regularly enough to test the brightening claims. It wasn’t a super drying clay mask nor a hydrating clay mask for me. It is an interesting product though with the technology. It’s unique.

The Gel Mask Moist is a wash off hydrating gel mask. It’s got a thicker gel texture. Details per Adsorb:

Gel Mask Moist with Natural AntiBody complex and an abundance of active moisturizing ingredients, refreshes the skin and jump starts skin hydration for plump, smooth and vibrant skin!

Key Ingredients

  • Hydration: PUNICA GRANATUM FRUIT EXTRACT, Thymus Serpyllum Extract,
  • Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Origanum Majorana Leaf Extract
  • C12-13 ALKYL GLYCERYL HYDROLYZED HYALURONATE, SQUALANE
  • Healing: MultiExBSASM , BIOTIN, OLIGOPEPTIDE-34, DIPOTASSIUM GLYCYRRHIZATE
  • Others: FULLERENES, PLACENTAL PROTEIN

This is hydrating and it uses the antibody technology with ginseng & placenta protein (hello growth factors). I never thought of using this as a sleeping mask you don’t wash off but I need to go try that tonight now. It’s a nice gel as it doesn’t dry down to a tight film, it stays a bit moist and gel like while wearing the mask (This is my preference in a gel mask). I liked the gel mask the best of the two for sure. It was really soothing and hydrating.

Top: Gel Mask Moist. Brightening Clay Mask:

The Moist Lotion is my favorite from this new launch. It’s got a light hydrating watery gel texture. Details per Adsorb:

A triple-hyaluronic acid moisturizing lotion with our Natural AntiBody Complex efficiently hydrates your skin, providing deep moisture that helps plump and smooth skin.

Key Ingredients

  • Triple Hyaluronic Acid for Water Holding Capacity: SODIUM HYALURONATE, SODIUM ACETYLATED HYALURONATE, HYDROLYZED HYALURONIC ACID

This is really like an essence so use it after cleansing but before serums. It has a nice pump bottle. The light serum gel texture is hydrating and easily absorbed. It’s hydrating and I love the ability of the antibody complex to help prevent blemishes. This adds a nice extra hydrating layer. All three products are definitely on the luxury end with the high price point. I probably wouldn’t buy the masks with the price tag though I really like the gel mask. My favorite is the Moist Lotion. I would say that’s my pick from this launch. Overall my all time favorites from the Adsorb line is the serum and this essence. They’re easy hydrating layers with the unique antibody technology. Read my previous blog post I linked for the technology part.
