April Samples & Empties: Part 1

Time for the April Samples & Empties Post. This month's post was so big I split it into two parts. Quick thoughts about each staring above left to right.

Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream: A nice medium weight moisturizing night cream. Smells like sweet almond oil.

eos Shave Cream Vanilla Bliss: Staple. Review here.

Omorovicza Complexion Enhancer: This is the best tinted moisturizer. Sadly discontinued recently. Review here.

Su-man Purifying Cleansing Gel-Oil: Love this gel oil cleanser that washes away clean. Talked about it here and here. Hero product.

ilike Rose Petal Gel Mask: I wanted this to replace Fresh Rose Mask. It didn't. This is thicker and more gentle. But it doesn't have the refreshing, cooling effect that Fresh has.

Erborian Pate Au Ginseng: This was an OK gel mask. Way too perfumed for me. Loved the idea of aged ginseng. Review here.

Herbivore Botanicals Coco Rose Body Polish: The best body scrub ever. Hero Product. Review here. I got through a jar a month.

innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum: Loved this. It's got loads of green tea and it's cheap. I would buy again. Review here.

Beautyblender Original Makeup Sponge: It's just worth it for heavier foundations. There's no substitute. Unfortunately this one bit the dust early as Ella took a chunk out of mine.

Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm: This was OK. I hate pots, it has a sweet mint scent/flavor. Baby lost it in my shoe for months and I didn't miss it. Now it's turned bad halfway through the pot. So onto other things. I talked briefly about it here.

Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask: I like this mask. It's nice and hydrating. It's one of my favorite Sisley masks. Still ridiculously overpriced. Talked about it some here.

RODIAL Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Mask: This was OK. I like the gel texture and the light scent. Very refreshing. I have other basic gel masks I like better. Talked about it here.

Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer Nudeglow: Eh, this was OK. Smells like cake or something. Basic light pearly champagne lotion. Very pigmented and glowy. Felt more like a highlighter than a good lotion.

Biologique Recherche Creme Dermopurfiante: This was odd. Has a pearly whipped texture. It had the worst stench to it. I had a hard time getting through it because of that.

Patchology Lip Renewal Flashpatch Lip Gels: These do work. I find it hard to sit around in them without being able to eat or drink for a while. I still think all patch masks are expensive for no reason. Review here.

Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels: I like these. They're cooling and refreshing for the eye area. They're not as extortionist price wise as other patch masks. Review coming.

Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkleresist24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask: This was nice. They're OK. A thin paper/fabric style eye mask, not a gel. I probably wouldn't grab them as they're too pricey.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask: I wanted to love it. Review here.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue: It's a hydrating eye cream with retinol. I like it.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser: This is a nice gentle gel cleanser. Perfect for second cleanse. I recently rediscovered how much I like it.

Cosme Decorte Intensive Eye Cream: This was nice. Hydrating eye cream. I probably wouldn't grab it as it's way too expensive.

Sisley Paris Botanical Moisturizer With Cucumber: I liked this. Good light lotion/cream texture. Was supposed to be cucumber based but it's more fragrance scented than cucumber. I might go for a big one one day as I liked the texture.

Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging + Intensive Repair Daily Serum: This was OK. Hydrating basic serum. Too small a sample to see if it did anything.

Chanel UV Essentiel: I wanted to like this. It was a nice fluid texture. It was a bit drying and I don't need this high of an SPF for daily use.

Farmacy Eye Dew: This was nice/OK. Hydrating cream. Nothing wrong with it but nothing ground breaking either texture wise.

Embroyolisse Lait-Creme Fluide: I thought I would love this more than the heavier version but I don't. It's a light lotion texture but it has a wax feel to it. I like the cream better. I also realized that this is more for body(after I used it) and it would be great for the body just not the face. The heavier version is better for the face. I would actually consider getting this for body use.

Drunk Elephant C-Firma: Staple, use it all the time for years. Review here.

Sunday Riley C.E.O.: This was OK. I like the basic cream lotion texture. Really strongly orange scented. Maybe too strongly for some.

Amore Pacific Time Response Eye Renewal Creme: This was a nice basic eye cream. Medium weight.

THREE Balancing Lotion: Nice basic essence texture. THREE is a Japanese brand with natural good ingredients. I would consider grabbing a big one.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum: This was a light creamy textured serum. Good for hydration.

Kat Burki Intense Recovery Rose Hip Eye Serum: I liked this. Creamy and heavier. Almost like a gel cream more than a serum.

Nars Skin Total Replenishing Eye Cream: This was a heavier hydrating eye cream. I liked it. Much to my surprise since it's NARS and you just don't always figure cosmetic brands do skincare well.

Sephora Express Eye Makeup Remover Wipe: This is eh, too dry for me. It's discontinued from the site now.

Perricone Md Face Finishing Moisturizer: Love this. An amazing light to medium moisturizer that leaves your skin soft as a baby's butt. I used to use this one for a year before I branched out more. I still love it every time I come back to it.

Fresh Rose Face Mask: Love the ingredients and idea. Basic overview here.

Lancer Eye Contour Lifting Cream: This was OK. It didn't leave an impression on me one way or the other.

Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Bodybuilding Volume Shampoo & Conditioner: I like this. A lighter version of their normal hydrating products. I've been working my way through bigger versions of each.

Ogx Bamboo Fiber-Full Shampoo & Conditioner: This was OK. It wasn't mind blowing but it wasn't bad.
