Catherine Jinn Pro Bio Placenta Essence

I love using some kind of growth factor serum at night to give my skin a healthy appearance. I find growth factors tend to be that general healthy skin, glow giver. Catherine Jinn Pro Bio Placenta Essence is a serum that combines neuropeptides, five growth factors, hyaluronic acid and amino acids. Details per Catherine Jinn:

This powerful serum delivers a groundbreaking combination of ingredients all in one bottle. The synthesis of Biomimetic Peptides, Neuropeptides, and Oligo Elements have a molecular identity identical to the life-giving growth factors. An important step in any skin care routine, used consistently it helps minimize the appearance of expression lines and wrinkles, improves elasticity, and helps smooth the look of skin.

A refreshing, lightweight eye serum that targets the appearance of wrinkles, the loss of firmness, and dark circles and puffiness. Our anti-aging serum provides a cutting-edge combo of skin-renewing ingredients. It was developed in South Korea but produced in America. The Secret to our success? Our more complete formula, including 5 peptides, molecularly identical to those found in the human placenta.

Argireline & Inyline, are designed to reduce the appearance of expression wrinkles. Oligo elements, which enhance your skin’s antioxidant powers are all combined with vitamins to help nourish & support fragile, aging skin. The combination of the five unique growth factors (including epidermal growth factors) promote collagen and elastin production.Together, these innovative ingredients combat ALL signs of visual aging.

What about a sheep placenta alternative? Pro Bio Placenta Essence can be used as a safe alternative to sheep placenta. It delivers the same results by helping skin rejuvenation and collagen production.

Directions Wash and pat skin dry. Apply toner as needed. Apply a small amount of Pro Bio Placenta Essence to entire face and neck area. Allow to dry. Can be used daily (both morning and night) as well as under makeup. Follow with a moisturizer or sunscreen.

This has a super lightweight texture, much like a hydrating essence. It sinks in quickly and is moderately hydrating. I love the airless pump. This has no real scent, just of the natural products nothing extra. This serum has glycerin & sodium hyaluronate (hydrate), fermented soybean/folic acid (probiotic), arginine (antioxidant, helps build collagen), Acetyl Glutamine (amino acid sugar, hydrating), growth factors: sh-Oligopeptide-1, sh-Oligopeptide-2, sh-Polypeptide-1, sh-Polypeptide-9, sh-Polypeptide-11 (protect & stimulate new cell growth) and neuropeptides: 3-Aminopropane Sulfonic Acid, Acetyl Hexapeptide-30, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (reduce lines & wrinkles).

I really enjoyed this serum, it was light and easy to use. I don’t know why one part of the description says eye serum but it’s a face serum. There’s no reason why you can’t use it for both. I think this gives a healthy glow and look to the skin but it wasn’t as powerful as my all time favorite so far by Cellese. This is markedly cheaper though, at less than $40 it’s a great way to get into neuropeptides and growth factors to see if you like them. Cellese will set you back $150. ‘Growth factors’ come from different sources and I find some yield a bit better results than others. This serum has EGF or epidermal growth factors where Cellese uses cytokines. Other brands may use other types of stem cells. A lot of brands add EGF to night products and they do yield results. They’re cheaper so you’ll find them in cheaper brands like K Beauty as well as other brands. You’ll find that medical grade cytokines or other types of stem cells in pricier medical grade serums. There is a difference between the types though they all are great. Again I think doing this $40 entry level EGF serum is a great way to try growth factors. They really do give that healthy appearance to your skin.
