Radiant Cream Foundation has a typical pan cream look and feel to it but it’s actually remarkably light. I tend to stay away from creamy matte formulations but it’s Cle de Peau and I was totally intrigued as I know their foundations tend to be quite beautiful. Details per Cle de Peau:

This is more of a satin-matte cream foundation. It’s got buildable light to medium coverage. I would not consider this full nor matte coverage or finish. It’s got a very natural satin-matte skin like finish with a low key radiant feel. I find it lasts about 8 hours or so before it begins to fade a little. It never gets oily or greasy in the t-zone so no breakdown during the day. It also never dries out like some matte formulations can do, it remains comfortable all day. I love how it doesn’t settle in my pores or fine lines and it never looks cakey. It looks like skin while blurring my pores and gives my skin a nice soft focus finish. For a pan cream foundation it’s actually one of the best I’ve tried formulation wise.
It has some fragrance. One of the things I love about Cle de Peau is that they don’t heavily fragrance their products. Another thing I love is that their shade O30 is absolute perfection for me. It’s not too pink nor too yellow. It’s got this perfect warm neutral olive undertone for me. I wish this came in a refillable compact. That’s my number one compliant. The foundation itself is absolutely beautiful. I hate the idea of throwing away a compact and having to repurchase the whole thing. I know the inside pops out so it could be replaced with a refill. I saw a refill on some asian sites but it’s not available in the US. This foundation is really quite nice and I wish they offered refills as it would be better for the environment and because I would definitely repurchase it.
