Current Favorites & Product Obsessions

Been a long time since I’ve done a favorites post. I shot this in January but felt I was doing too many of these only and not other posts, then I got busy and it got postponed posting this set. So, the best part of the recent Fitglow Beauty x Beauty Heroes box was the Night Lip Serum. This is cushy, glossy balm with a delicious vanilla scent. It has pomegranate sterols, ceramides and vegetable collagen. I love it during the day but it’s not an overnight treatment for my really dry lips. It’s a favorite weekend lip treatment when I’m bumming around the house. Another favorite treat is the Perricone MD Cold Plasma Plus + Hand Therapy. I love Perricone products and this is fab. It’s nourishing yet has a silky/satin finish on the skin that’s not greasy. Plus no scent which is nice. It was instant love that I don’t get often with hand creams. I finally caved and grabbed the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Lotion. I see everyone talk about it but haven’t tried it. It’s so nourishing plus it has this gorgeous glossy smooth texture. It’s affordable and comes in a large size. It’s also fragrance free. It’s a more nourishing lotion so it was great for winter. It also doubles as a nice hand cream that will take forever to use. I see why everyone likes it and if you’re looking for a nice textured medium rich lotion this is it.

Y’all know LOVINAH is one of my favorite local brands. Ther green chemistry brand has innovative and very effective skincare formulations. Lately I’m finishing up the Dragon’s Blood Antioxidant Cream which is an antioxidant rich gel cream. I love the silicone free texture that layers beautifully without pilling. It has arctic cranberry, bilberry, blackcurrant, cloudberry, lingonberry, mastic water, milk thistle, niacinamide, Dragon’s Blood, tomato seed oil and blood orange distillate. True gem in the skincare world if you like gel creams. More HERE. By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Bronze Moon is easily my all time favorite cream eyeshadow ever. It’s long lasting, crease proof and the neutral bronze shimmer is utter perfection. I talk about it all the time because I use it all the time. I’m on number two. I’ve been using the StriVectin Super-C Retinol serum on the backs of my hands lately. This is a silky texture serum with stabilized and effective vitamin C plus retinol. It’s great for a one and done hand treatment for my dark spots.

Miller Harris La Fumee Ottoman is a smoky winter favorite. It has a smoky yet not too dry scent. The spicy and warm lean helps round it out but it’s not too overpowering. Very sexy scent. Top notes are Cumin, Cardamom, Rose and Bergamot. Middle notes are Incense, Cedar and Patchouli. Base notes are Amber, Rose, Fruits, Sandalwood, Vanilla and Tonka Bean. Nudestix Nudies Matte Blush & Bronze is a favorite cream blush formula. It’s creamy, pigmented, lasts and builds up well. In The Nude is described as a neutral nude and while I liked it at first it was way too peach and warm in the long run. I prefer my other shades better. It’s a great blush formula though, one of my top picks for cream blushes.
