Current Favorites & Product Obsessions

Last week was frigid cold and I was all about the extra hydration as I'm sure you all were as well. I love Zelens Z Matrix it's been a favorite for years. The gel cream is a great way to add in an extra hydrating layer. This gel cream has a bit of an energizing feel to it. It seems to really perk my skin up well. It's also got a really nice lush texture and it layers well with most everything. Review HERE. Belif Peat Miracle Revital Eye Cream is such a nice treat in the winter. This rich, lush eye cream hydrates the driest eyes without being greasy. It's got a thick texture that really soothes. Peat extract is rich in minerals and antioxidants. If you want a less active eye cream meaning no vitamin c, retinol or peptides and just want lush hydration then this is for you.

Sometimes I forget how much I love the African Botanics Marula Intense Skin Repair Balm until I pull it out again. This balm is rich but it's so soothing and hydrating. It's a heavier textured balm but it sinks in well. This is my go to when my skin is really needing an intense soothing balm. Review HERE. The new Youth to the People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Mask is a great way to add some antioxidants and brightening hydration overnight. This mask has a dreamy buttery rich texture. Review HERE. YOU Skincare Moisture Replenishing Essence  is one of my all time favorites. This has a slippery hydrating lightweight texture. It's anti-inflammatory and soothing in addition to being moisturizing. It's the best cool drink of water for the skin. Review HERE.

In the cooler weather my lips get really dry and flaky and nothing gets rid of it quite like Fresh Sugar Lip Polish. This is hands down my all time favorite lip scrub ever. It's just moist enough to not be dry and the grains are smaller so they're not those big sugar granules. It also has enough oils to be hydrating and leave behind enough moisture after scrubbing. You almost don't need lip balm after applying. Review HERE. Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer is sadly discontinued but I love it in the winter. It has a nice tint (I use Medium) that helps blur pores and discolorations. It's almost like a light tinted foundation. Plus this is one of the only silicone primers that I actually like because it's thin and breathable. I can't use this in the Texas summer but during the winter it's phenomenal. It gives a nice smooth finish to the skin. I forget how much I love Miller Harris L’Air de Rien until I pull it out. It's a musky, dirty unique scent. It was made for Jane Birkin and is supposed to be about dusty libraries and old books. It’s more rounded than that, it’s warm, light enough, has a bit of citrus, vanilla, musk. The notes are: neroli Tunisia, oak moss, patchouli Indonesia, vanilla bourbon, amber, musk. I love it because it’s light enough to not be overpowering, feminine enough yet has a dirty quality which I have found I love in fragrances. That ‘dirty or human quality’ makes me feel like it’s a you but better scent.

I had no light to do outside swatches due to the rainy weather so here's some pots for texture-Top Fresh, Middle left Youth to the People, Middle right Zelens, Bottom left African Botanics, Bottom right Belif:
