I forgot how much I loved my Fresh body products until I pulled out my Black Tea Age-Delay Body Cream. I don’t remember trying this one in the past but I heard it was amazing. It’s got a lush glossy appearance and medium weight texture. This has the same gorgeous fresh scent as the rest of the black tea line. It’s geared towards firming with the black tea complex, blackberry and lychee extracts. Definitely a luxurious body cream for sure, I love how it’s not greasy or heavy considering it’s a bit richer. Ages ago I bought this Reverie Milk Leave-In Nourishing Treatment but I just hadn’t been using it a lot. I love the herbal earthy scent it has. This has a glossy kind of milky gel appearance to it. It’s very nourishing from the oils and great for preventing frizz plus it’s silicone free. I really need to use it more because it gives a nice shine to my hair and doesn’t weigh it down.
Bite Beauty revamped its line to be vegan so they ditched the lanolin in their Agave Lip Mask. The lanolin used to make my lips numb so I jumped on this lanolin free one when it launched as I always loved the texture. The Agave+ Intensive Lip Mask has a medium gel balm texture with agave, mangosteen and acai. It’s been a long time since I used the original but this does feel lighter. I think it lasts fairly well but it doesn’t have quite the same lasting overnight power as before. I prefer this more as a day balm especially on the weekends. I can see why some devotees who used this at night would be upset as this doesn’t seem it will work as well overnight. As I couldn’t use the old one I’m not one of them. I actually like their newer daytime lip balm stick better as it lasts longer. Everyone always told me how good the de Mamiel Restorative Cleansing Balm was. They’re right. It has a nice medium weight smooth texture. I love that it’s not a heavy oiler balm like some. It’s got a bit of a creamy feel which helps it feel smooth. It’s got a really nice light aroma from honey mrytle, fragonia, chamomile & rose geranium. It’s also got prebiotics, manuka honey and a blend of kukui, mango, murumuru and cacao butters. Use a cloth to remove this balm but it won’t leave you as oily like heavier ones.
The Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner is a nice slippery thicker liquid that works as both an essence and toner. The cobalt blue bottle is stunning. It’s got 90% astralgalus membranaceus root extract. Supposedly the flavenoids in the root help repair skin damage and help revitalize the skin. It’s fragrance free which I love. It’s lightly hydrating and I like it as a toner on a pad. You can use it on a pad or splash some in your hands to apply like an essence. I’ve seen some do multiple layers to get more hydration. Byredo launched Night Veils Sellier in new packaging. I think this is the same one but I’m not 100% sure. It used to be in a blue bottle. I was expecting this to be a deep leather but it’s refreshingly light. It’s not as light and airy as Rodeo. It’s sexy and has a deeper feel to it but it’s not overwhelmingly deep or dry. It’s really well done and honestly it might have just become my favorite scent they make. If you’re a big leather or Byredo fan you need to check it out. Top: Cashmeran, Black Tea. Heart: Leather Accord, Tobacco Leaves. Base: Birch Tree, Oakmoss.
EM Cosmetics Heaven’s Glow Radiant Veil Blush is from the Magic Hour collection. It gives the most soft warm peachy pink flush to the cheeks. Very nice. Not powdery at all. Feels like a mineral blush texture wise. It has a very soft pearlized glow, no shimmer. I don’t do blush with shimmer anymore and this just has such a nice radiant glow. Chantecaille Liquid Lumiere in Sheen is the perfect compliment to this blush. A weightless buildable liquid highlighter in a neutral pearly tone. Zelens Youth Glow Foundation is one of my all time favorite liquid foundations. It has such a nice light to medium dewy coverage that looks like glowing skin. It’s never heavy or greasy. I wear shade Beige and I’m on my second bottle. One of the few foundations I’ve actually repurchased. Review HERE.
