What another crazy week in this world. This week I’m enjoying the Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Leave-In Mask. I spray this onto my dry hair once or twice a week at night and it gives a nice gloss and strength to it. It uses natural reparative micro-oil beads to help mend damage, reduce frizz and add shine without silicone. I’ve been seeing this VESCA Beauty Soft Sun Radiant Skin Primer all over Instagram so I grabbed it in shade First Blush. I’m a sucker for pinky peach illuminators. This one has a gel texture that sets down to a satin finish. It’s not dewy but it’s not drying or matte either. It’s in between. It almost reminds me of the old Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham primer but with a pinky peach glow. It has a touch of silicones but it’s very light and doesn’t make me greasy or feel heavy or pore clogging at all. The shimmer I will say sadly dies on the skin, it’s almost too sheer. I could use a bit more just because it’s not that noticeable. The texture is lovely otherwise. Plus it’s a cute little package.

Cle de Peau Radiant Stick Foundation is one of my favorite summer foundations. This has a super light almost cooling water feel when you apply it on the skin, plus it holds up really well even in high heat & humidity. Which is why I love it in the summer here. It’s very sheer but if you like just a tint in the summer it’s really nice. Great for warm weather climates. Review HERE. I was so excited to see Wayne Goss launch a lipstick line. I love his brushes. The Luxury Cream Lipstick has a divine creamy texture. It’s medium weight and has a satin finish. I love that it’s not drying at all plus it’s buttery and pigmented. He really did a great job with the formulation. I grabbed shade Lotus described as a deep brown pink but it’s really more a pinky nude on me. A great neutral if you want something not too pale but not too dark. It has a slight vanilla scent to it.

I have been absolutely loving the African Botanics Botanical Hand Cream. I actually bought a tube before it was in the Boxwalla June Beauty Box. It has a medium weight creamy texture that manages to nourish my hands and not feel to greasy. It works well as a day cream. It’s like that little piece of luxury in a crazy world. The scent is aromatic and botanical which relaxes me. It has several butters, marula & baobab oils, rooibos, Swiss garden cress, plant peptides and Alpine rose stem cells. It’s not a cheap one but it’s definitely a nice luxury treat right now. I love the Hermessence line by Hermes. Paprika Brasil is one of my lighter scents and warmer weather favorites. The bottle is luxurious and the scent has this nice warm really unique scent to it. I’ve honestly never smelled anything like it. It’s kind of tropical and balmy with a slight woody and almost spicy edge. If you like resin scents or airy tropicals you should give it a sniff. It has a nice warm feel to it. Top: clove, paprika, pimento, Heart: green leaves, iris, Base: precious woods, reseda.

I’ve been totally obsessed with the Malaya Firming Eye Serum. I was introduced to it in the Clean Beauty Box and it’s been a fast favorite. It has a medium weight oil texture from the blend of argan, camellia, squalane, prickly pear, acai, buriti, green coffee & red raspberry oils. The packaging is small and cute, it’s easily portable. This serum also has eyebright, horsetail, Edelweiss, kakadu plum, kelp & apple stem cell extracts plus pea peptides. It does have a few essential oils like Bulgarian rose, immortelle, sandalwood and fennel but it’s not a strong scented product by any means. It has a light and natural scent. I love how perky and firm this makes my eyes look. I love it on the weekends in the day and at night on occasion. Lovinah just launched a new product to the Dragon’s Blood line. The Antioxidant Cream is a lovely gel cream perfect for this hot summer weather. In true Lovinah fashion the packaging is stunning as always and the product of course has an impressive inci list. The texture is a medium weight gel cream and it has a gorgeous pinky red hue. This cream has mastic water (anti-inflammatory, healing), vitamin C, Dragon’s Blood (healing, anti-inflammatory), milk thistle, cloudberry, lingoberries, chokecherry, purslane ferment, niacinamide, blood orange distillate, bilberry, tomato seed oil (antioxidant rich, beta carotene), ceramides, L-Glutathione, superoxide dismutase plus a new patented encapsulation technology. It’s a true treat for the skin, I enjoy layering it. The light berry fruit scent is killer.
