Current Favorites & Product Obsessions

Another crazy week to add under our belts. I'm absolutely obsessed with the new Natasha Denona Bronze Eyeshadow Palette. It's a little orange/red for my overall tastes but there are three shades I'm using constantly. As always she makes the best textured eyeshadows, high pigmentation, buttery smooth texture that glides on. Palladium, Rhodium & Deep Dive make the best combo. Palladium is a pinky taupe with a warm bronze feel. Rhodium says it's a warm purple with silver reflect, it almost feels like a brown blue and it's just such a fun shade. Deep Dive is almost a deep navy eggplant. Great for lining. It's not a true matte is has a hint of pearl but not much. Just enough to add a smoother texture to the shade. Even if only use those three shade I still love it. Though I hope to branch out a little into the firey shades as I'm super curious. I recently picked up a few Danessa Myricks items. The ColorFix 24-Hour Cream Color in Celebration is by far my favorite. It's a shimmering mid tone neutral brown cream shadow. It lasts all day with no creasing or budging. Work quickly as once it's set there's no budging it, but I do like that it gives you enough time to actually work with it before drying.

This new Laneige Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser is to die for. It's got a nice liquid texture almost like thick cream. It's fragrance free and I love the pump. It's got this really nice slip to it. I love it in the morning and think it makes a great second cleanse. I like it more than other creamy cleansers I've used because sometimes I don't like that thick cream texture. It's not heavy on the oils like a typical oil cleanser so that's why I like it as a morning or second cleanse. Very hydrating but not too heavy. Summer always reminds me of coconuts and I love summer scents. Heeley Coccobello is one of my all time favorites. It's not a sweet coconut, it has a more green coconut scent to it. So it feels very fresh and light. Notes: Palm Leaves, Gardenia, Coconut, Sea Salt, Vanilla Bourbon, Virgina Cedar, Sandalwood, Benzoin.

One of my favorite summer moisturizer/SPF combos is the Allies of Skin Molecular Multi-Nutrient Day Cream with the Make p:rem UV Defense me. Blue ray sun gel. The Allies of Skin is the best lightweight moisturizer. It's got plant stem cells, probiotics, manuka honey, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, healing tamanu oil, fermented black tea, ceramides and a plethora of powerful antioxidants like superoxide dismutase & green tea. Review HERE. One of my favorite day weight moisturizers, hero product. The Make p:rem is a Korean sunscreen with a super lightweight gel texture. It's prefect for summer. No heavy or greasy feel plus it's not drying. Alcohol and fragrance free. It's chemical sunscreen and does help with reducing heat on the skin from infrared rays. It's a nice emulsion kind of texture. One of my all time favorites. Review HERE.

Sente Dermal Contour Pressed Serum has a great technology unique to the brand. This serum has a hydrating, plumping and firming effect on the skin. Check out the blog post for details on the technology HERE. I realized how well it works and how I've missed it so even if my wallet hates me. de Mamiel Dewy Facial Mist is a favorite of mine. You don't need a fancy mist yes. But this one is quite stellar if you enjoy a green beauty style mist. It does have essential oils and flower essences but it's light and has a nice calming effect. The mister is also really fine which I enjoy. We all know how much I enjoy YOU Skincare. I'm on my second bottle of the Radiant Perfecting Serum. This has such a unique and ingredient list that helps enhance cellular renewal, repair and improve texture of the skin without being harsh. It has six fermented extracts, yeast extract, niacinamide, aloe, Dragon's blood, turmeric, beta glucan and sodium hyaluronate. It's quite pricey but it's gorgeous. More to come soon in full review.
