Been a while since I got one of these posts done. I’ve been meaning to mention how much I love the TATCHA The Serum Stick. It’s not something I ever thought I would’ve liked but it really has saved me from mask irritation. This is essentially a stick with 80% squalane, hyaluronic acid and Japanese lemon balm. I literally slather this one my cheeks every evening once I get off work. The surgical masks rub my cheeks raw and this is really nourishing and soothing. It replaces the moisture I need. Especially on the cheekbones. It lives in my purse. SkinMedica TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream was an item I thought I didn’t like at first. It was nice & thick but it seemed like it didn’t hydrate me enough. I was looking at my drawer the other day and realized I used about 75% of the tube. I had come to love it without knowing it. It’s definitely a medium to heavy weight cream but it’s not heavy or greasy at all. I find it soothing overall and replenishing. It was great for summer nights and it works for cold winter days for me. It has ceramides, peptides and the TNS growth factors.
Omorovicza should be launching the Acid Solution anytime. It has a 6.5% acid blend of PHA, BHA and AHA (glycolic, lactic, caviar lime) and polyglutamic acid. I love the gentle and effective nature. The 5-8% acid blends really are my sweet spot for being effective yet gentle enough to use frequently. It has a faint scent and slippery, hydrating, light texture. I’m quite enamored with it. Byredo Sellier has easily become one of my favorites from the brand. It’s a sexy leather scent that lasts all day long, which for me is rare, plus the silage is amazing. It’s not a dry or string leather, it has a nice warm well rounded feel to it as well. Top: Cashmeran, Black Tea. Heart: Leather Accord, Tobacco Leaves. Base: Birch Tree, Oakmoss. I wish it wasn’t so expensive but I would buy it again in heartbeat.
I have two Victoria Beckham favorites lately. First is the Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer in Golden. I started with the original which I still love. This summer I grabbed Golden when it launched and I love it as well, almost more actually. It sheer yet adds a nice warm shimmery golden glow to the skin. This functions as a day moisturizer, illuminator and primer in one. It’ll save you some time in the morning. Plus it’s luxe. It is not too golden or dark for my light medium skin tone. It works quite nicely and is sheer enough. More to come soon I promise. The Bitten Lip Tint in Chérie is a is weightless veil of gel color in a pink rose. It’s actually got a hint of plumping and moisture to it, it does set and last like a lip stain obviously. You can start sheer or add more. It’s really been nice under masks because it lasts. The Lipliner in 2 works perfectly over it.
The Fresh Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream has become one of these weekend heros for me. My under eyes are severely dry and in the morning I put on an oil normally, however I’ve been subbing it the last month with this and what a refreshing change. This is cooling, soothing, hydrating and depuffing in one. It’s a fab treatment to throw on real fast, cook breakfast on the weekend for everyone then move on to my routine later in the day. One of this items I never would have thought of purchasing for myself, but would consider it now when empty. Kaja Moon Crystal Sparkling Eye Pigment in Tiger’s Eye will forever remain a favorite of mine. This cream shadow doesn’t crease or budge all day. I love the shimmering brown taupe with a hint of green pearl. It’s literal perfection. Plus it’s so affordable. I need to get another soon as I’ve almost finished it and that’s pretty rare for me. It’s a true hero product. It gives me an effortless look in a minute.
