Current Product Crushes

I haven’t posted about some of my current product obsessions in a while so I thought it was time for a post. I have been totally loving these tinted brow wax pencils, they’re so quick and easy. They hold your brows in place and add a quick tint for some shape. If you need more definition in one area you can use a more pigmented pencil and fill in that area better. The Sephora Tinted Brow Freeze is a chubby version, Pixi Endless Brow Gel Pen is a thinner type. Both products pictured are shade Light.

Deciem’s NIOD Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex is fabulous. It’s a serum with 12 types of hyaluronic compounds with a peptide infused base. It’s reasonably priced, not heavy at all as it sinks right in. It does provide an extra layer of hydration without any heavy feel. Perfect for Winter skin layering. Review to come.

Urban Decay’s new Nocturnal Vice Lipstick in Fireball is something I have always wanted. As soon as I saw Fireball eyeshadow I was thinking how much I wanted a lipstick version. It’s the Metallized Vice formula. It’s a peach base with a strong pink pearl shift. It looked sheer at first but it does layer to a moderate level of opacity. You get a nice peachy shade with a lovely pink shimmery shift. Very nice for Spring.
Ever since I got the Rituel de Fille Rare Light Luminizers I’ve been absolutely obsessed with them. The cream highlighters are scented like lavender, have great lasting power and have an amazing multi-dimensional shimmer to them. Phosphene is a beige with a peachy pink shift and Anthelion is a neutral gold with a firey orange red shift. I reviewed Phosphene and will soon be grabbing Ghost Light as well.

It took me a while to buy Zelens Power D. I’m so glad I finally took the plunge. It’s a dry oil texture, nothing greasy or heavy. It’s perfect for Winter to add some needed moisture at night. It feels calming to the skin. Review to come.
The Cle de Peau Spring 2017 blush in Perfect Peach was a pleasant surprise. It’s a perfect nude with enough peach and pink to be lively. It lasts pretty well for a cream blush and has more pigment than I expected. See review here.
The Soft Fluid Foundation by La Mer is another I have been loving lately. I’m always wary of a long wearing foundation. They’re always too heavy, dry and matte for me. The newest foundation launches that have been boasting long wearing formulations are quite good-such as Tom Ford’s Waterproof Foundation. This La Mer Soft Fluid Foundation sets to a satin finish and is never drying. It is like a skincare foundation as you would expect for La Mer. It’s not heavy nor overly matte. It gives a medium coverage that’s buildable to almost full yet can be sheered out to an almost light coverage as well. I wear shade Beige and review is coming.
Happy Valentine’s Day!!
