December Lepaar x Boxwalla Beauty Box

The Boxwalla Beauty Box is my favorite subscription box. The bi-monthly beauty box curations never disappoint. December is all about Lepaar. Lepaar is an Australian brand that I'm sure you've seen me mention now and then. Lepaar is a small hand crafted artisinal brand by husband & wife duo Johanna and Christopher Everingham. Lepaar uses botanical extracts that are sun infused in cold pressed demeter certified biodynamic extra virgin olive oil. These sun infusions take 4-6 months all without electricity. Every Lepaar product has frankincense, myrrh and 24K non nano gold. While their products do have some essential oils it's minimal. I've always loved the packaging (hello wax seals) and rich quality of the oils in Lepaar's products.

The December box theme is From the Earth, Slowly which has three Lepaar products that would retail for $151. The star of the box is the Luminous Beauty Balm. This facial balm has a divine melty texture that just sinks into the skin resulting in soft, supple and renewed skin the next morning. The balm has chamomile (cell renewing, calming), carrot root (neutralize free radicals), black cumin, turmeric (anti-inflammatory), mullein flower (hydrating), vanilla (antioxidant, stimulates cell regeneration), kakadu plum (antioxidant, high in vitamin C), saffron (antioxidant), pumpkin seed oil (anti-inflammatory). It's also got the Lepaar trio (frankincense, myrrh, 24K gold). I love how rich this is but yet it feels lighter on the skin due to the melty texture.

The Luxurious Body Firming Oil is a richly textured body oil with olive oil, calendula, vanilla, camellia, milk thistle, arnica, saffron, sandalwood, bitter orange and the Lepaar trio. I love the light warm scent it has. This is a richer body oil due to the olive oil base. It doesn't feel greasy but it does take a few minutes to really sink in. I love how it nourishes and actually hydrates all day for me. Most body oils tend to leave me dry by the end of the day as for some odd reason my body tends to burn them off quickly which is why I normally mix them with lotion. I didn't need to use lotion with this body oil, my skin stays supple and hydrated all day after using. It's really a nice one and I'm excited I got to try it as it's not something I would have purchased on my own. Like a little treat for these colder months. This is a special smaller size (50 ml) created for this box.

The Velvet Sole Lip + Face Balm is interesting. It's a 5 ml size jar with papaya seed oil (exfoliating, renewing), calendula (healing), beeswax, hand ground pink Himalayan salt (provides 84 trace elements to the skin) and the Lepaar trio. It's a lightweight lip balm in a stunning wax seal jar. You can also use this balm as a gloss on the face (think eyebrows & cheekbones). I like this under a lipstick the best. It's adds a nice layer of light moisture and is the perfect base for lipstick application.

I love the little card that always comes in the Boxwalla boxes:

I also love how I don't feel overwhelmed with Boxwalla as they are bi-monthly. I don't get too many products I can't use from this subscription box. This month you get a $151 value for $49.95 and have until December 1st to subscribe. I think you'll love Lepaar. It's an interesting and beautiful brand. Their oils and products are a little richer from the olive oil base but they're never heavy or greasy. Subscribe HERE.
