Time for the January Samples & Empties Post. Quick thoughts about each starting above.
Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Hand Therapy Pump: This is nice, moisturizing. Heavy enough for night but not greasy.
Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment: Good stuff. Review here.
Herbivore Botanicals Coco Rose Coconut Oil Body Polish: Staple. I've lost count how many jars I've gone through. Review here.
Oskia Renaissance Mask: Staple. Love this non drying exfoliating mask. Review here and here.
Phyto Phytojoba Intense Hydration Brilliance Shampoo: This is a nice gentle, moisturizing shampoo. I used this to shampoo after coloring.
eos Shave Cream Vanilla Bliss: Staple. Cheap. Fabulous. Review here.
Simple Micellar Cleansing Water: Cheap. Effective. Review coming.
Alpha-H Liquid Laser Cleansing Oil: Loved this. Review here.
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser: Gentle. Good for any skin type, especially as a second cleanse.
Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream: A good night cream, smells like sweet almond oil. Medium hydration.
Caudalie Premier Cru The Elixir: This was a face oil. It was OK. I have other facial oils I like better but it wasn't bad.
Zelens 3t Complex Essential Anti-Aging Cream: A nice cream. I've used a fair amount of it. Medium hydration. I have more and will be happy to use it. Review to come.
Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment: This is hydrating, has a funny aftertaste but that's about it's only negative.
Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash Mascara: This was OK. A little spidery and not as voluminous as I wanted.
Oribe Shampoo & Conditioner For Beautiful Color: I love this stuff. Both are great. Hydrating, sells great nothing bad to say other than it's expensive.
Kat Burki Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream: This is good. Hydrating, natural. Has this awesome melon light scent. I bought a full size jar so full review to come one day.
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser: See Above.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream: This is nice. Light yet hydrating. Non irritating light scent.
Somme Institute Transport: A little dry for a wipe I wouldn't buy.
The Ordinary "Buffet": This was good. Review here.
Oskia Renaissance BrightLight Intensive Pigmentation & Dark Spot Serum: Review coming shortly.
Omorovicza Gold Night Drops: Love it, hydrating retinol. Review coming shortly.
Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum: Staple. Talked about it here.
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5: This is OK. Review here.
Erborian Eau Ginseng: Review here.
Pixi Glow Tonic: I wanted to love it. Very mild and hated the fragrance. Review here.
DNA Renewal Eye Renewal: This was OK. Light creamy style serum eye cream. It didn't make a huge difference in dark circles.
Surratt Expressioniste Brow Pomade: Love this, holds my brows well. Talked about here.
Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes: This is a really black mascara. It does look like false lashes some. I go back and forth with whether or not I would buy this full size.
FEMMUE Brightening Mask Foam Cleanser: I don't normally like foam cleansers because they're too drying. This was what I expected, too drying. I got this from Glowrecipe mystery box but oddly I can't find it on their site.
Ilsci Grape Stem Cell Moisturizer: I wanted to like this. It was too heavy and had a slightly off scent. It's natural so I expect a natural scent, but it was kind of musty.
Earth's Recipes Dual Hydrating Liposome: This was OK, a hydrating essence. It was a small sample so hard to see if it had any real positive effects.
Huxley Secret of Sahara Cream Anti Gravity: I've been wanting to try Huxley for a while. This cream is way to heavy for me. Similar hydration and texture to La Mer original cream.
FEMMUE Global Youth Spring Lotion: This was a really light lotion, I liked it. Very light lotion like a serum.
HURRAW! Coconut Lip Balm: I've gone through multiple tubes of this. Review here.
Blossom Jeju Pink Camelia Radiance Booster: This was a hydrating gel essence. It was OK. This was also from the Glowrecipe box but it's not on their site anymore.
Peter Thomas Roth Acne-Clear Invisible Dots: Love these. Review here.
Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser: I love this cleanser. Purifying with clay. I talked about it some here.
Sisley Paris Soir De Lune Moisturizing Perfumed Body Cream: This was OK. Very heavily scented. Hydrating body cream, not really greasy. Way too expensive.
Zelens Micro-Refiner: I like this. A creamy cleanser with small scrub exfoliants that aren't harsh. I talked about it here.
Sisley Paris Nutritive Handcare: LOVE it, not greasy, lightweight and hydrating. I will be buying a big one.
Huxley Cotton Pads: I wanted to like these. They're double sided for two uses. One side is soft like my usual staple Shiseido cotton pads, the other side is rougher for more manual exfoliation. The only thing is that the rough side tended to peel away while using. Like they weren't pressed together well. I'll stick with my Shiseido.
Fresh Creme Ancienne Ultimate Nourishing Honey Mask: I used to think this was my ultimate honey mask. It's moisturizing and you get all the benefits of honey. The scrub particles in it are few, but they're just too harsh for me. It felt like they were scratching my face. I have found a similar mask with no scrub particles, and much cheaper. Review on that one soon. I talked about the Fresh mask here.
