June Naturallogic X Boxwalla Beauty Box

Undoubtedly you've heard me mention the Beauty box by Boxwalla. It's a bi-monthly beauty subscription box. I love the bi-monthly part so I don't get overwhelmed with a monthly box plus it's also really well curated. For June they bring you Naturallogic a favorite brand of mine. Details per Boxwalla:

June Beauty Box Theme: Be Drunken

The June Box features two full-sized products from the incredible brand Naturallogic. Toni Ann Barandon is the founder and formulator of Naturallogic.

What’s in the June Beauty Subscription Box?

The June Beauty Box contains a gorgeous, limited edition antioxidant mask made with Red wine and fermented lees as well as a hydrating Peptide serum made in a base of Aloe, Rose, and Neroli Waters. All the products are freshly made for our box.

  • Luna Biofermented Red Wine Mask ($78): LUNA is a seasonal limited edition made from purple red wine ferment (lees) mixed with an equal amount of the final, organic Red Wine that is made in-house. Red wine is rich in Polyphenols, Resveratrol, as well as Gluconic acid, and stimulates collagen & elastin restoration, and reduces free radical activity. Luna also contains Ellagic acid rich Strawberry juice, Rosehip extract, gentle pink Kaolin clay, Raw honey, and more!
  • Eternal Milk Vitamin Peptide Treatment ($88): Eternal Milk is made in a base of Aloe Vera, Rose & Neroli Hydrosols. It combines carefully sourced, additive-free, lab synthesized peptides: Hexapeptide 1, Tetrapeptide 21 & Tetrapeptide 10, along with botanical or botanically sourced peptides like hydrolyzed Green Pea protein & White Lupine & hydrolyzed Sacha Inchi seed extract (hydrolyzed protein = peptides). There’s also Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin C ester, Hibiscus, Gotukola and so much more – a veritable multivitamin drink for your skin!

Notes on Luna from Toni: “Luna came about during one year helping my mother with the filtering of her yearly wine production. It’s not only a lengthy process but has a long history of tradition in how it is made. After the grapes are pressed for the juice and skins, it is sealed properly and fermented for at least 6 months. At each New Moon during the fermentation process, the “wine” is filtered by siphoning the liquid from the top of the jug and removing the solids that settle on the bottom (called the lees). They are so beautiful, rich, deep purple, and have a creamy clay-like consistency. I combined the wine and lees with other antioxidants, humectants, and moisturizing ingredients with the idea of a mask that does it all, from plumping, to hydrating, to brightening to age-defying, to mild exfoliation. And also is something gorgeous and gentle. So much so that you can leave it on for hours without anything but joy and benefits. Our in-house crafted red wine takes half a year to produce and harvest. Over the course of several lunar cycles, the enzyme and probiotic-rich grapes ferment, settle beneath the wine, and are harvested at each new moon. But not only that, the mask itself takes 3-4 days to make each batch, to get the ingredients to mix without any emulsifiers, and to get the consistency just right. It’s very labor-intensive.

This year’s batch is crafted from Nebiolo, Barolo, and Montepulciano red wine grapes”

I've used LUNA multiple times before. I buy a new version every year. It usually comes out in the late spring. My original review of the mask is HERE. Every season it changes slightly due to the fermentation process. It's fun to see how it changes over the years. The texture this year is a bit more gel like, less thick than last year. Think of LUNA as a total treat for your face with fermented red wine, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, honey, rose hip and honeysuckle extracts, strawberry juice, honeysuckle, clay, raw cacao plus cranberry, raspberry and macadamia oils plus vanilla and jasmine absolutes. It smells faxtastic, it's not drying and leaves your skin hydrated, plump and revitalized. I also find it not irritating. The scent is addictive, like chocolate wine with a hint of vanilla. I love the new gel texture.

I've never tried Eternal Milk before. It's a thin gel serum in texture. Think aloe, rose and neroli hydrolat based serum with fatty acids, red ginseng, algae, MSM, lupine and green pea protein plus gotu kola. It smells like rose and neroli, faintly it's not a heavy scent as it's not essential oils. I love the pump with glass bottle. It's really a nice light hydrating texture. It's not sticky or heavy so it should be good for all skin types. It absorbs quickly. If you like VOTARY Super Seed Serum this is similar but thinner and it has more scents from the natural ingredients. If you don't like synthetic peptides this is a great choice for you as an anti-aging serum plus it has antioxidants from antioxidant rich oils and extracts. It's also got added hydrating and skin loving ingredients like algae and MSM.

This box has a value of $166 and you can get it for $49.95. I highly recommend this mask, it's one of my all time favorite treats. It's available now if you subscribe through June 24th while supplies last. Subscribe HERE.

*PR box, I have bought quite a few LUNA masks myself as well as subscribed to Boxwalla in the past
